INTERFACE DEVICE BETWEEN AN EXTERNAL EQUIPMENT AND LINES INTENDED TO BE CONNECTED TO A PATIENT SYSTEM
An interface device between external equipment and at least a venous tube for transferring fluid to a patient, the interface device having at least a first port adapted to be connected to an outlet port of the external equipment; and a venous port carried by a stator of the interface device in order to inject the fluid into the venous tube. The interface device includes a third port, the first port and the third port being carried by a movable assembly that is movable relative to the stator, the interface device being arranged to pass from any one of its configurations to another one of its configurations by the movable assembly moving relative to the stator.
CONNECTING DEVICE
A male connector (100) includes a first fitting structure (127) on an inner circumferential surface of a hood (120) surrounding a male member (110). A female connector (200) includes a rotating cylinder (250) rotatably provided on a female connector main body (210) that includes a partition member (220) made of an elastic material. A second fitting structure (257) is provided on an outer circumferential surface of the rotating cylinder. When the male connector is connected to the female connector, the male member passes through a slit (223) of the partition member, the female connector is inserted into the hood, and the first fitting structure fits to the second fitting structure.
MEDICAL CONNECTORS
An adapter for connecting a first connector to a second connector can include a proximal portion configured to linearly engage the first connector with a snap-fit engagement. The adapter can include a distal portion configured to rotationally engage the second connector. Rotation of the adapter relative to the second connector can advance a male luer of the first connector into substantially sealing engagement with a female luer on the second connector. The adapter can be configured to displace a collar on the first connector when coupled to the first connector. The second connector can include a proximal portion that is configured to engage the first connector, such as with a snap-fit engagement.
CONNECTION DEVICE FOR A MEDICAL FLUID CONDUIT SYSTEM
A connection device includes a connection body which has a hose adapter and a connector piece for releasably fastening a further fluid conduit component or fluid storage component. The connection body is coaxially surrounded by a securing sleeve. The securing sleeve is axially securable on the connection body in two securing positions that are axially mutually spaced apart relative to a central longitudinal axis of the connection body. Rotatability of the securing sleeve is possible in a first securing position, and jamming of the securing sleeve on a hose portion that is plug-fitted onto the hose adapter is possible in a second securing position.
MEDICAL CONNECTOR
A medical connector of the present invention is characterized in that: when a male connector portion is inserted into a female connector portion, a first locking portion is engaged with the female connector portion to achieve a first locked state as well as a second locked state; when the second locked state is released by operation of a second unlock operating portion and the female connector portion is moved in a disengagement direction with respect to the male connector portion, the locking member is moved in the disengagement direction together with the female connector portion while keeping the first locked state; and when the female connector portion is rotated with respect to the male connector portion, the first locked state is released.
Connector coupling assembly
Couplers are described herein. A coupler includes a coupler body, a plurality of first retaining fingers, and a plurality of second retaining fingers. The coupler body includes a first end and a second end, and defining a cavity, the cavity configured to receive a first connector and a second connector. The plurality of first retaining fingers are configured to engage against a collar of the first connector to prevent axial motion of the first connector relative to the coupler. The plurality of second retaining fingers are configured to engage against a shoulder of the second connector with a retention force, and release the second connector by radially expanding in response to a pullout force exerted on the second connector exceeding the retention force.
Connector for forming a fluid flow pathway
A connector for forming a fluid flow pathway by connection with a reciprocal connector. Both the connector and reciprocal connector include a fluid flow blockage part sheathed within an axially compressible sheath part. A first bearing surface receives an urging force to retract the blockage part axially along the sheath part. A terminal end of the sheath part defines a second bearing surface containing a fluid flow opening with the fluid flow blockage part retractably therein. A first chassis part includes a first catch part. A second chassis part includes a second catch part and a third bearing surface spaced from the second catch part along the second chassis part. Retraction of the blockage part forms a fluid flow pathway not sooner than immediately when the openings meet to allow fluid transfer the openings avoiding fluid leakage between connected connectors.
TORQUE LIMITING CONNECTOR
Connectors are disclosed that include an outer connector, inner connector, and a clutch that can collectively limit a torque transmitted through the connector. The outer connector includes a profile disposed on an inner surface of the outer connector, and the inner connector may be disposed within the outer connector and can include an upper threaded portion and a lower threaded portion. The clutch can be disposed around and rotationally coupled to the inner connector and can include a plurality of clutch teeth extending from an outer surface of the clutch, wherein the plurality of clutch teeth are outwardly biased to be releasably engaged with the profile of the outer connector. The plurality of clutch teeth can be configured to transfer torque from the outer connector to the inner connector when the torque is below a torque limit, and prevent transfer of torque when the torque exceeds the torque limit.
FEMALE CONNECTOR
A female connector that allows connection of a male connector including a lock claw and a channel connection. The female connector includes a cap including a top provided with an opening and a peripheral wall extending from an outer peripheral edge of the top; a housing including a cylindrical wall and an engaging protrusion protruding from an outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical wall to form a lower surface engaged with the lock claw; and a valve including a portion sandwiched between the top and the cylindrical wall and a portion penetrating the valve in up-and-down direction. A boundary is formed between an upper surface of the engaging protrusion and a lower end face of the peripheral wall. The lower end face is smaller than the upper surface in outer diameter. The engaging protrusion has an outer peripheral surface including a portion with a diameter increasing downward from the boundary.
CONNECTOR SET AND FEMALE CONNECTOR
A connector set includes a male connector; and a female connector. The male connector includes: a hollow rod-shaped flow path connection portion that defines a first flow path therein and that has a first axis as a center, and a lock protrusion that has an inner peripheral edge extending in a circumferential direction around the first axis. The female connector includes: a cap, a housing, and a valve body. The cap includes: a top wall, and a cylindrical outer peripheral wall extending from an outer peripheral edge of the top wall and that has a second axis as a center. The housing includes: a cylindrical wall, and an engagement protrusion protruding from an outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical wall so as to form a lower surface configured to engage with the lock protrusion to lock the male connector.
