ARRANGEMENT OF OPERATING ELEMENTS AND DISPLAYS IN A MEDICAL PUMP SYSTEM
A medical pump system includes at least one medical fluid pump of a first type and at least one medical fluid pump of a second type. The medical fluid pumps can be assembled or arranged vertically, with one of the medical fluid pumps positioned above the other. Each medical fluid pump has a movable front flap with an integrated display and operating elements. The medical fluid pumps can be directly connected to one another in a vertical arrangement, or arranged in a vertical arrangement with the aid of a carrying or holding device. When the medical fluid pumps are vertically arranged, the displays and operating elements of the respective medical fluid pumps are aligned vertically.
Assembly nest for a pen injection device with locking function
An assembly nest for transporting a tubular sub assembly of a drug delivery device on an automated production line, in which the tubular sub assembly includes a tubular body and a cap that is wider than the tubular body. The assembly nest includes a base against which a sub assembly of a drug delivery device is mountable to orientate said sub assembly in a predetermined position; and locking mechanism having a resilient member to urge the locking mechanism into one of: an unlocked position, in which a sub assembly of a drug delivery device can be mounted to the base; or a locked position, in which the locking mechanism engages a mounted sub assembly to retain it in its predetermined position on the base.
SYRINGE AND TUBE HOLDER
A syringe and tube organizer having a mounting plate for connecting to a supporting surface and a holder plate extending from the mounting plate. The holder plate may provide one syringe-receiving opening and a plurality of tube receiving slots. The tube receiving slots are defined by a void slot having a retention detent, and wherein the void slot terminates at the center of a spherical cap void.
PRE-FILLED SYRINGE STOPPER RETAINER HAVING PROJECTIONS OR RECEIVERS AND METHODS OF USING SAME
A stopper retainer comprises a base having an upper surface, a lower surface, and a perimeter; a sidewall joined to the base around the perimeter, the sidewall having a raised height to define an interior cavity with the base; and a plurality of projections extending from the lower surface of the base, each of the plurality of projections being sized to at least partially fit within a lumen of a syringe barrel.
PRE-FILLED SYRINGE STOPPER RETAINER AND METHODS OF USING SAME
A stopper retainer comprises a body having an upper surface, a lower surface, and at least one fastener, and a plurality of projections extending from the lower surface of the body, each of the plurality of projections being sized to at least partially fit within a lumen of a syringe barrel.
Shielded syringe holding device for filling a syringe with a radioactive solution
Syringe shield for using a syringe that includes a barrel, a tip and a plunger when manipulating a radioactive solution. The syringe shield includes: a shield body in which the syringe is insertable, the shield body having a window; a first flange at a first open end of the syringe shield; a second flange at a second open end of the syringe shield; wherein the second flange, the shield body, and the window include radiation shielding material, and wherein the tip of the syringe is accessible by the second open end of the syringe shield and the plunger extends outside the first open end when the syringe is inserted in the syringe shield.
Closing a chamber of a container for a pharmaceutical product
A device for closing a chamber of a container having an opening for accessing the chamber comprises a plunger, a plunger seat, a container carrier and a spacer. The plunger seat releasably holds the plunger in a predefined alignment. The container carrier is arranged to be connected to the container in a predefined position and alignment in relation to the opening of the container. The spacer is arranged to position and align the plunger seat adjacent to and distant from the container carrier such that the opening of the container is open when the container is connected to the container carrier.
Medicament delivery device and system
A medicament delivery device system for delivery of a medicament from a cartridge (10). The system comprises a first container (11) for storage of a first substance, a second container (12) received in the first container (11) for storage of a second substance, and valve means (68) for closing a distal end of the second container (12). The system further comprises a disposable cassette (102) and a reusable firing unit (200). The cassette (102) has a body (104) for receiving the cartridge (10), and a mixing element (148) for displacing the second substance into the first chamber (16) in a mixing stroke, to mix with the first substance to form the medicament. The firing unit (200) comprises a drive element (208) for expelling the medicament from the first chamber (16) in a delivery stroke and a trigger arrangement (240) for initiating the delivery stroke.
Container
A container includes an upper opening portion, a holder, which is placed in the container, for holding at least one medical device, and a gas non-permeable film for sealing the opening portion. The holder includes a basal plate portion having a plate shape, a plurality of tubular portions protruding downwardly from the basal plate portion, a plurality of stays formed around each of the plurality of tubular portions and connecting another of the plurality of tubular portions, and a support rod protruding downwardly from the basal plate portion and having a length longer than the plurality of tubular portions. The support rod is arranged such that a medical device housed in each of the plurality of tubular portions is not adapted to contact a bottom surface of the container, or another holder adjacent to the holder when the holder and the another holder are stacked.
System and method for safety syringe
A method for preparing a pre-filled multi-chamber injection system includes providing an injection system body, the injection system body defining an open proximal end, a body interior, and an open distal end. The method also includes introducing a first substance into a distal end of the body interior. The method further includes disposing a distal stopper member in the body interior, the distal stopper member and the injection system body defining proximal and distal chambers in the body interior. Moreover, the method includes introducing a second substance into the body interior. In addition, the method includes disposing a proximal stopper member in the body interior. The method also includes inserting an elongate member at least partially into the body interior, the elongate member having a plurality of flow channels for fluidly coupling the proximal and distal chambers. The method further includes coupling a plunger member to the proximal stopper member.
