TRACK-INDEXED SYRINGE
The present invention relates to a finger grip (1) arranged to be connected to a syringe barrel having a plunger and a plunger rod for driving said plunger. The finger grip comprises a body having a lower side with finger supporting surfaces (13) for supporting fingers of a user during handling and an engagement member (5) being moveable between an inactive position where the engagement member is arranged not to engage with the plunger rod of the syringe barrel and an active position where the engagement member is arranged to engage with a grooved surface on the plunger rod of the syringe such that feedback is given to a user as the plunger is moved relative to the finger grip. An activation member (7) for moving the engagement member from said inactive position to said active position is built-in into the finger grip.
SYRINGE FOR IMPROVED INJECTION AND ASPIRATION
A syringe (1) is provided with a tube (2), a plunger rod (3), and a plunger rod head (4). The plunger rod head (4) has a first surface (41) and a second surface (42). A finger grip component (5) is provided as a one-piece body attached to the tube (2), and includes an injection finger support surface (61) arched in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (A) with a first curvature for co-operative association with the first surface (41), and an aspiration finger support surface (62) arched in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (A) with a second curvature for co-operative association with the second surface (42).
INJECTION DEVICE AND INJECTION SOLUTION TRANSFERRING SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to an injection device, in particular a micro dose injection device such as, for example, an ophthalmic injection device. An example device comprises a rotatable plunger; a solution receptacle having a first end configured to slidably receive the rotatable plunger and a second end configured to dispense solution contained in the solution receptacle; a first stop member configured to prevent the rotatable plunger from being slidably displaced to a second position while the rotatable plunger is at a first position and in a first orientation; and a second stop member configured to prevent the rotatable plunger from rotating in a first direction about the first axis while the rotatable plunger is at the first position and in the first orientation, wherein slidably displacing the rotatable plunger from the first position to the second position dispenses a quantity of the solution contained in the solution receptacle.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ASPIRATING FROM A BODY LUMEN
An aspiration device can be used to aspirate an obstruction from a blood vessel. The aspiration device is configured to allow controlled one-handed aspiration yet maintain a syringe plunger feel of vacuum. The aspiration device also allows one-handed injection to empty the device when needed. Furthermore, mechanisms enable one-handed locking of a plunger position of the device to maintain vacuum when the user releases the device.
SYRINGE HOLDER AND PHARMACEUTICAL LIQUID ADMINISTRATION SET
A syringe holder includes: a barrel body that holds a syringe; a holder opening; deformation promoting portions; and radial movement-restricting portions. The radial movement-restricting portions are provided close to the deformation promoting portions. Being brought into contact with first portions, the radial movement-restricting portions restrict the syringe from moving in a radial direction with respect to the barrel body.
System and method for safety syringe
A system for injecting includes a syringe body defining a proximal opening and a distal needle interface. The system also includes a plunger member defining a plunger interior and configured to be manually manipulated to insert a stopper member relative to the syringe body. The plunger member includes a needle retention feature disposed in the plunger interior, an energy-storage member disposed in the plunger interior, and an energy-storage member latching member disposed in the plunger interior. The system further includes a needle hub assembly coupled to the distal needle interface of the syringe body. The needle assembly includes a needle having a needle proximal end feature, a hub, and a needle latching member configured to couple the needle to the hub. The needle is retractable into plunger interior upon manipulation of the plunger member to actuate the energy-storage member latching member.
DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE SAFETY SYSTEM
A drug delivery device is disclosed, wherein the device comprises a housing; a product container arranged in the housing; a plunger rod partially disposed inside the product container; and a thumb pad configured to receive a portion of the plunger rod, wherein the thumb pad and the plunger rod are configured to transition from a first state to a second state, wherein at the first state, the plunger rod is prevented from moving in a proximal direction, and at the second state, the plunger rod moves freely in a proximal direction.
Automatic injection devices having overmolded gripping surfaces
Exemplary embodiments provide automatic injection devices, housing components for automatic injection devices and methods for fabricating the same. An exemplary housing of an automatic injection device may be overmolded with one or more gripping surfaces to facilitate gripping and manipulation of the automatic injection device by a user when performing an injection. In an exemplary embodiment, an overmolded left gripping surface may extend along a left side of the housing and an overmolded right gripping surface may extend along a right side of the housing opposite to the left side.
Cap for medical injector
A medical injector including a cap remover or second cap is disclosed. The medical injector includes an injector housing defining a reservoir, a plunger rod, and a stopper engaged with a portion of the plunger rod and slidably disposed within the reservoir. The stopper being sized relative to an interior of the injector housing to provide sealing engagement with a sidewall of the injector housing. The medical injector further includes a needle having a sharpened first end and a second end in communication with the reservoir, a first cap covering the sharpened first end of the needle, and a second cap covering at least a part of the first cap. The second cap is engaged with the first cap such that removal of the second cap simultaneously removes the first cap from the first end of the needle.
MULTI-CARTRIDGE INJECTOR AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING SAME
A multi-cartridge injector includes a plunger having a main brace and a pair of stems, each of the pair of stems having a coupler, a pair of stoppers coupled to each coupler of the pair of stems, a containment unit having a pair of barrels, and a Y-shaped conduit having a pair of branches and a common shaft, and a passageway that extends through the common shaft and the pair of branches, each of the pair of branches being in communication with an interior of one of the pair of barrels.
