Lighting system for protecting circadian neuroendocrine function
Lighting systems, methods, and devices for protecting human circadian neuroendocrine function during night use are described. Suitable lighting conditions can be provided for a working environment while protecting the circadian neuroendocrine systems of those occupying the illuminated workplace during the night. Lighting systems, methods, and devices can provide substantive attenuation of the pathologic circadian disruption in night workers. Lighting systems, methods, and devices can attenuate the specific bands of light implicated in circadian disruption. LED lighting systems, methods, and devices can provide increased intensity at a different portion of the spectrum than conventional LEDs, providing a useable white light even when unfavorable portions of the wavelength are attenuated by a notch filter. LED lighting systems, methods, and devices can switch between a daytime configuration and a night time configuration, wherein the daytime configuration provides unfiltered light and the night time configuration provides filtered light.

2,3,5-TRISUBSTITUTED PYRAZOLO[1,5-A]PYRIMIDINE COMPOUNDS
Compounds that inhibit PI3Kγ, and compositions containing the compound(s) and methods for synthesizing the compounds, are described herein. Also described are the use of such compounds and compositions for the treatment of a diverse array of diseases, disorders, and conditions, including cancer- and immune-related disorders that are mediated, at least in part, by PI3Kγ.
Dynamic sauna
Systems and methods are provided for controlling infrared radiation (IR) sources of a sauna including tuning IR wavelength-ranges and radiated power-levels of IR sources, and directing IR to locations on a user's body. In one illustrative embodiment, a sauna may be provided having adjustable IR emitters to emit IR at any wavelength resulting in a desirable radiation treatment for the sauna user. In another illustrative embodiment, a method is provided for tuning IR emitters in a sauna.
BODY IRRADIATING DEVICE
The invention relates to a body irradiating device, in particular for irradiating a body of a person or a part of a body of a person, in particular with cosmetically and hygienically useful radiation, comprising a radiation source with a base and at least one first LED chip which can emit a first radiation spectrum with a first radiation peak and at least one second LED chip which can emit a second radiation spectrum with a second radiation peak differing from the first radiation peak. A body irradiating device allowing the radiation spectrum of more than one LED chip to be combined and uniformly supplied to the human body is achieved in that the first LED chip and the second LED chip are arranged below a common lens in an LED package and can be controlled separately.
Spectral Power Distribution Fusion Lighting Apparatus
A spectral power distribution (SPD) fusion lighting apparatus includes a first visible light source with a first SPD, a second visible light source with a second SPD, a driver circuit, and a controller. The first SPD is different than the second SPD markedly in a 50 nm wavelength range. The controller toggles the turning on of the first visible light and the second visible light at a frequency greater than 25 Hz. The first visible light source is turned on during one half of the duty cycle, whereas the second visible light source is turned on during the other half of the duty cycle. The first visible light source and the second visible light emit similar light outputs and have similar chromaticity coordinates on the CIE 1931 color space chromaticity diagram. In some embodiments a sound wave generator is used to generate a sound wave at the same frequency.

Lighting Device to Promote Circadian Health
A method, system and computer-readable medium of utilizing artificial lighting regulate a circadian clock of a human. By utilizing light emitting diodes (LEDs) that emit wavelengths associated with human opsin absorption spectra, a device may stimulate opsins in the human. For example, the device may replicate normal sunlight (e.g., based on season or time of day) by emitting light that changes in rhythmic intensity or spectral modulation.
