WEARABLE SELECTIVE BIOPHOTON REFLECTOR
20230218918 · 2023-07-13 · ·

A wearable device that selectively reflects biophotons emitted naturally from the user's body back into the body, achieving beneficial health effects similar to low-level laser therapy without requiring an external laser device. Illustrative wavelengths that may be reflected may include 550 nm, 630 nm, 632 nm, 660 nm, 694 nm, 810 nm, and 980 nm. Radiation of wavelength 810 nm in particular has been shown to affect mitochondrial energy production. The device may be worn for example as a bracelet or pendant. Internal components may include one or more filters to select the desired wavelengths, and a parabolic mirror to reflect these selected wavelengths back into the body. Some embodiments may also include a polarizer so that reflected waves are polarized.

Pain relief utilizing polymer based materials or a combination of LED bulbs and polymer based materials to create a near field accelerator

A pain relief device and method or system to aid in the resolution of pain in a body including at least one layer of PVDF film and at least one other layer for directional purposes, as well as a polarizing layer. The device can be packaged in various ways. Also described is a device that uses a combination of LED bulbs, polymer based materials and a near field accelerator to provide pain relief.

Flexible Photobiomodulation and Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy Device
20230001222 · 2023-01-05 ·

The present disclosure provides a combined Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy and Photobiomodulation (PBM) therapeutic device in the form of a flexible wearable that can be secured to a user's body part to apply targeted radiation to a desired area. The frequencies and pulse patterns of both types of radiation are controlled by a single controller of the device which can switch between a number of pre-set sequences and patterns. The device is wirelessly enabled to allow control via an external user device.

POST CECUM PHOTOTHERAPY
20220409919 · 2022-12-29 · ·

A system and method for identifying a post cecum position of an ingestible, phototherapeutic capsule traveling through a gastrointestinal (GI) tract to prevent intestinal blockage and facilitating deployment of additional phototherapeutic capsules in accordance with patient needs. The system employs an ex-vitro beacon in wireless communication with the capsule. The ex-vitro beacon is deployed in the vicinity of the McBurney's point to direct a beacon signal toward the cecum to identify capsule passage into the large intestine less prone to blockage.

A device and method for disinfecting and/or enhancing healing of a wound or surgical site facilitates placing a light-emitting device with a frame having a central void, the central void adapted to surround the wound or surgical site; an illumination source disposed on the frame for directing safe, therapeutic light centrally towards the underlying wound or surgical site; and the transparent central void enabling visualization and clinical monitoring of the underlying wound or surgical site.

THERAPEUTIC DEVICE FOR PAINFUL INFLAMMATORY PATHOLOGIES AND FOR NEURO-MUSCULAR AND NEURO-POSTURAL MODULATION
20220395698 · 2022-12-15 ·

Summary

The therapeutic device of the invention consists of a support to be placed on the skin of a patient and made of specific nanocrystals, which when properly activated, produce electromagnetic emissions that have beneficial effects on inflammatory, painful pathologies, and neuro-muscular and postural modulations of the patient.

PHOTOTHERAPY DEVICE

The present disclosure provides a method for treating ischemic stroke by illuminating a skin surface to reduce free radical generation in subsurface target tissues (e.g., the brain following an ischemic event). The method utilizes a waveguide that receives light from a light source. The waveguide is placed adjacent a skin surface of a patient and the waveguide emits light that passes through the skin surface and illuminates a subsurface target tissue. The waveguide includes light-extracting features configured to emit light at a target angle relative to the surface tissue. That is, the light-extracting features alter a trajectory of light emitted by the waveguide, such that a larger percentage of light emitted by the light guide has an angle that is +/−25 degrees off of a center line of the light guide.
