Lighting system for protecting circadian neuroendocrine function
Lighting systems, methods, and devices for protecting human circadian neuroendocrine function during night use are described. Suitable lighting conditions can be provided for a working environment while protecting the circadian neuroendocrine systems of those occupying the illuminated workplace during the night. Lighting systems, methods, and devices can provide substantive attenuation of the pathologic circadian disruption in night workers. Lighting systems, methods, and devices can attenuate the specific bands of light implicated in circadian disruption. LED lighting systems, methods, and devices can provide increased intensity at a different portion of the spectrum than conventional LEDs, providing a useable white light even when unfavorable portions of the wavelength are attenuated by a notch filter. LED lighting systems, methods, and devices can switch between a daytime configuration and a night time configuration, wherein the daytime configuration provides unfiltered light and the night time configuration provides filtered light.
IRRADIATION APPARATUS
The invention relates to an irradiation apparatus for irradiating an irradiation object with light, comprising at least one light source with an identification unit that contains light source-specific information; a frame, more particularly a reflective frame, at least one light source holder on which the at least one light source is arranged by form-fitting insertion in the light source holder; and a region which provides a detection field of a communications device; the identification unit being positioned on the at least one light source such that the identification unit, by form-fitting insertion in the light source holder, is within the detection field.
Virtual reality augmented massage therapy system and method
A virtual reality augmented massage therapy system and method is disclosed. Using this system taps into all of the key senses that people use to evaluate their surroundings, which in turn helps them to relax and feel comfortable. Simply stated, the more stimulus inputs a person's brain receives to determine its presence in an environment, the more immersed the person will become in the generated environment.
Apparatus, method, and system for selectively effecting and/or killing bacteria
Certain exemplary embodiments can provide an apparatus and method for generating at least one radiation. The exemplary apparatus and/or method can selectively kill and/or affect at least one bacteria. For example, a radiation source first arrangement can be provided which is configured to generate at least one radiation having one or more wavelengths provided in a range of about 190 nanometers (nm) to about 230 nm, and at least one second arrangement can be provided which is configured to prevent the at least one radiation from having any wavelength that is outside of the range.
METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF MILK WITH A HIGH CONTENT OF NATIVE VITAMIN D
The invention relates to a method for the production of milk with a high content of native vitamin D3, comprising the irradiation of one or more lactating animals in a roofed enclosure, having at least one luminaire with a lamp emitting UV-A and UV-B radiation, and the milking of animals. The method allows producing milk having a high content of native vitamin D. The method also leads to an improved milk yield per animal.
SKIN CARE APPARATUS USING PLASMA AND NEAR INFRARED RAY
An exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to providing a skin care apparatus using plasma and near-infrared ray designed to provide effects of improving skin and lifting by irradiating plasma and near-infrared ray generated through dual electric generation on skin contacted by a spherical form. Further, the exemplary embodiments of the present disclosures are directed to providing a skin care apparatus using plasma and near-infrared ray that prevents skin contact or dual irradiation, which were used to happen in the conventional side contact structure, with the method of irradiating plasma and near-infrared ray by using dielectric barrier discharge for each of the plasma discharge groove and near-infrared irradiation groove that are different from the conventional contact structure, through a spot contact spherical body structure.
