CONTROL ASSEMBLY FOR A BREATHING MASK OF AN AIRCRAFT CREW MEMBER
A control unit for an aircraft crew member's breathing mask, includes a support, a mode-selection knob pivotally mounted on a holder between at least a first position, a second position and a third position. A controller supplies a breathing cavity in three modes of operation depending on the position of the mode-selection knob. A locking/unlocking system includes an operating member moveable between a locking position and an unlocking position. The locking position blocks the rotation of the mode-selection knob from the second position to the third position, and the unlocking position allows rotation of the mode-selection knob from the second position to the third position.
REGULATOR ASSEMBLY FOR AN AIRCREW BREATHING MASK
A regulator assembly for an aircrew breathing mask includes a support and a mode selection knob mounted with the ability to pivot on the support. The selection knob is able to pivot between at least a first position, a second position and a third position. The mask further includes regulator designed to supply a breathing cavity at least in three modes of operation according to the position of the mode selection knob. At least one locking/unlocking device locks and unlocks the rotation of the mode selection knob towards the third position. The locking/unlocking device comprising has an operating member that pivots between a position in which the rotation of the mode selection knob is locked, and a position in which the rotation of the mode selection knob is unlocked.

Aircraft passenger seat oxygen system
An onboard oxygen system for aircraft includes an oxygen source, a regulator connected to the oxygen source, and an oxygen mask connected to the regulator. The oxygen source is stored in a cavity in a passenger seat armrest. The oxygen mask is stored in a mask storage compartment attached to the armrest. The oxygen mask is deployed for use through an opening in the mask storage compartment.
Powered air breathing apparatus
A safety breathing apparatus has a sensor for measuring the difference in pressure between two point 1a, 1b in the gas delivered to a head unit 9. The sensor is used to measure the difference in the pressure of the gas supplied through the apparatus between the two points in the gas flow, and the pressure difference is then used to calculate the gas flow rate.

Enclosed system environment pressure regulator
A pulse modulated oxygen dispensing and pressurization system provides a variable range of controlled oxygen bolus to an enclosed breathing environment supporting and maintaining required pressure conditions in accordance with desired flow demand. As oxygen is consumed by the user from within the enclosed breathing environment, the exhaled gases and moisture are conditioned or vented to acceptable levels by additional systems associated with the environment. These additional systems cause an ongoing need to replenish the oxygen within the environment and maintain the required partial pressure of oxygen. Specific to one of a plurality of modes of operation, the system responds to changes in regulated output pressure by delivering a precisely metered periodic bolus volume of oxygen to support a requirement of the environment volume. The bolus is variable based on a plurality of factors to increase and decrease changes in rates of flow required to maintain regulated pressure.
