DELUGE SYSTEM
A method of providing a deluge system (10) on a boom (12) such as a boom that is used to conduct well flaring operations at an end thereof. The deluge system comprises a base unit (30), a stanchion (20), and a nozzle apparatus (22); the method comprising attaching the deluge system to a burner boom with a walkway, such that there remains a width of at least 30 cm clear passage on the boom's walkway after the deluge system has been attached. This provides an escape and/or rescue route for personnel should a dangerous situation occur, such as uncontrolled fire or personnel falling overboard. In preferred embodiments, the deluge system is attached to the boom outboard of handrail supports (which includes on a single handrail). The deluge system may have its own mechanism e.g. a winch, for moving the stanchion from a stowed position to an operative position which allows a safe and more optimum positioning of the stanchion away from the well flaring operation, as herein described. In a preferred embodiment, the stanchion is provided as part of a moveable member which is rotationally attached to a connection mechanism of the base unit at a connection point spaced away from an end of the moveable member. This allows the moveable member to have a counter weight system and reduces the amount of force required to move the moveable member, avoiding mechanical constraints.

Heat-actuated fire damper sealing apparatus
A heat activated sealing apparatus for closing and locking a plurality of ventilation damper blades of a ventilation framework includes a fire detection assembly for detecting a fire condition and an actuator. A damper closure assembly includes an axle in communication with the actuator of the fire detection assembly and operatively coupled to the plurality of dampers of the ventilation framework, the axle being selectively rotatable between a start configuration at which the plurality of ventilation dampers are at the open configuration and a deployed configuration at which the plurality of ventilation dampers are at the closed configuration. The damper closure assembly includes a locking assembly movable between an unlocked configuration allowing rotatable movement of the axle and a locked configuration not allowing rotatable movement of the axle. The locking assembly is movable to the locked configuration only when exposed to a predetermined amount of heat from the fire condition.
High temperature process chamber lid
Lid assemblies for processing chamber and processing chambers including the lid assemblies are described. The lid assemblies include a high temperature lid module and a housing. The high temperature lid module being positioned adjacent a process liner of a processing chamber. The flexible housing positioned around the high temperature lid module and joined to the high temperature lid module with an elastomeric ring.
AUTOMATED GRID STORAGE AND RETRIEVAL SYSTEM WITH FOAM-BASED FIRE PREVENTION SYSTEM
An autonomous grid storage system (1) with a foam based fire prevention system. The autonomous grid storage system is in the form of a grid storage structure (104) dived into sub grids (10A, 10B, 10C) separated by firebreak or firebreaks (12). A foam dispensing system (20) dispenses a fire-retardant foam into the firebreak or firebreaks in the event of fire.

Liquid Stream Shaping Device
A device for shaping a pressurized liquid stream, the device including: (a) a conduit, adapted for intake and transmission of a liquid stream; (b) a shaping piece configured to shape the liquid stream into a liquid shield, the liquid shield resulting from the liquid stream impacting on the shaping piece. In some embodiments, the device further includes: (c) a lateral displacement mechanism adapted to adjust a distance between the conduit and the shaping piece.
Sprinkler system antifreeze compositions and methods
An antifreeze composition and a sprinkler system containing the antifreeze composition are described. Examples include aqueous antifreeze compositions containing relatively low amounts of glycerin and/or glycols, and which further include additives that are relatively non-flammable compared to glycerin and glycols. The additives are generally compatible with each other in the antifreeze compositions. Examples of the antifreeze compositions are typically relatively non-flammable, have low electrical conductivity and low corrosivity, and are compatible with CPVC.
FIRE SUPPRESSION AND ISOLATION SYSTEM
A fire suppression and isolation system includes an ejection nozzle, a dispersion nozzle, and a valve assembly. The ejection nozzle is positioned between a non-hazard volume and a hazard volume. The dispersion nozzle is spaced apart from the ejection nozzle and is disposed within the hazard volume. The valve assembly is arranged to control a release of a suppression medium from a container to the ejection nozzle and the dispersion nozzle, responsive to a thermal event, such that the suppression medium that is ejected from the ejection nozzle defines a fluid barrier that is disposed between the non-hazard volume and the hazard volume.
