Concealed window sprinkler frame arms and body orientation
A fire exposure protection sprinkler assembly provides fire exposure protection for one or more windows and includes a fire exposure protection sprinkler, a sealing assembly configured to unseal in response to a fire such that fire exposure protection fluid may flow from the fire exposure protection sprinkler, and a housing having a pair of legs, with each of the legs having an aperture. The assembly also includes a deflection assembly configured to extend from the housing due to gravity and activation of a cover plate, with a deflector configured to disperse the fire exposure protection fluid over the one or more windows so as to wet the one or more windows.
FIRE DOOR SYSTEM FOR CONVEYOR
In one or more arrangements, a system is presented for preventing the spread of fire through a conveyor opening in a fire wall. In one or more arrangements, a fire door system is connected to the fire wall and/or conveyor proximate to the conveyor opening. The fire door system includes a door assembly, a door frame assembly, and an actuator. The door frame assembly is connected to the fire wall, covers portions of the opening below the conveyor and between belts of the conveyor, and forms a door opening above the conveyor. The door assembly is configured to move between a closed position, where door assembly covers the door opening, and an open position, where the door assembly at least partially uncovers the door opening. The actuator is configured to cause the door to be moved to the closed position in response to fire.
CHAINED FIREPROOF SEALING SYSTEM
The present invention discloses a system installed around a penetration hole of a pipe penetrating wall structure which divides a certain space and sealing the penetration hole in case of fire, which comprises a housing unit, a connecting unit and a fixing unit. A housing unit forming a body and having a predetermined accommodatable space, a connecting unit connected to the housing unit, interconnecting the housing unit in a series and a fixing unit arranged at a side of the housing unit, fixing the housing unit to the wall structure.
EMBER-RESISTANT AND FLAME-RESISTANT ROOF VENTILATION SYSTEM
This application relates to ventilation systems, more particularly to roof ventilation systems that help to protect buildings against fires. The roof vent has an ember impedance structure that impedes the entry of flames and embers or other floating burning materials while still permitting sufficient air flow to adequately ventilate a building. Several configurations of vents employing baffle members and fire-resistant mesh material are described, which can substantially prevent the ingress of floating embers and flames.
ELECTRO-IONIC DEVICES FOR IMPROVED PROTECTION FROM AIRBORNE BIOPATHOGENS
An electro-ionic device configured for being worn on the face of a person is disclosed. The electro-ionic device includes at least two electrical conductors spaced apart from each other defining at least a portion of a respiratory pathway therebetween and a circuit configured to apply a first voltage between the two conductors during inspiration and a second voltage greater than the first voltage during expiration.
Multi-Functional Fire Attack System
The present invention concerns a portable building fire suppression system which allows fire-fighters to position the device within a building early on in the firefighting process. The device may use automated controls to begin fire suppression. Further, a number of electronics including lighting, smoke detection, alarms, camera, motion sensor, and the like may be included on the portion of the device inserted into the building. These electronic systems may provide vital information early in the firefighting process to inform fire fighters about conditions within the building.
Temperature-control system and method
A temperature-control and fire-suppression system is provided for a system space, which optionally houses IT equipment. The system space has a ventilation system for providing controlled temperature air, for example to the IT equipment. A store of a fire-suppressing gas in liquid form is coupled to a supply means for supplying the fire-suppressing gas in liquid form to the system space, such that evaporation of the fire-suppressing gas in liquid form cools, or absorbs energy, from, the air in the system space. A temperature sensor is provided for sensing a temperature in the system space and a controller is responsive to the sensed temperature for controlling the supply means, to supply the fire-suppressing gas in liquid form while maintaining the sensed temperature above a predetermined lower temperature.
Storage and charging system for hazardous products
A system for storing a hazardous product including a housing unit having an interior volume and a door coupled to the housing unit configured to provide access to the interior volume. The system includes an electrical connection configured to transmit electricity into or out of the interior volume. The system further includes a ventilation system for directing gasses and heat produced during a thermal event out of the interior volume.
CONTAINER-TYPE ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM AND ENVIRONMENT CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
This application discloses a container-type energy storage system and an environment control method therefor. The energy storage system includes an energy storage battery, a battery management unit, an environment control unit, a ventilation system, and several sensors. The battery management unit is connected to the energy storage battery and the environment control unit. The ventilation system is connected to the environment control unit. The several sensors are configured to detect different environmental parameters respectively in the energy storage system. The environmental parameters include a fire-type environmental parameter and a ventilation-type environmental parameter.
MULTI LAYER FIRE CURTAIN
A multi-layer rolling fire curtain assembly includes: a rotatable curtain roller positionable about a structure opening; a multi-layer fire curtain wrappable about the curtain roller and to be deployable from the curtain roller between an extended position and an open position, the fire curtain having a first end fixed to the curtain roller, and a free end, the free end being movable between a retracted position and an extended position. The fire curtain has: a fire resistant inner curtain layer arranged closer to the curtain roller, and a fire resistant outer curtain layer arranged opposite the inner layer. The inner and outer layers are affixed to one another by horizontally oriented connection seams, to connect the inner and outer layers to each other, the connection seams being configured so that the outer and inner layers are spaced apart by a plurality of baggy areas formed between adjacent connection seams.
