ACTIVATION ASSEMBLY WITH SHAPE MEMORY ALLOY (SMA) FOR A SEALED CONTAINER
An activation assembly for a sealed container includes a striker, a detent, and a shape memory alloy (SMA) wire connected to the detent. The SMA wire may move the detent from a first position to a second position relative to the striker based on activation of the SMA wire where, in the first position, the detent is engaged with the striker, and, in the second position, the detent is disengaged from the striker and the striker is movable from a stowed position to a deployed position.

BATTERY MODULE HAVING FIRE-EXTINGUISHING UNIT INCLUDING FIRE-EXTINGUISHING MATERIAL
A battery pack has a fire-extinguishing unit including a fire-extinguishing material, and more particularly to a battery module having a fire-extinguishing unit including a fire-extinguishing material, the battery module including a plurality of battery cells stacked in a vertical direction or a horizontal direction and a fire-extinguishing unit located adjacent to each of the battery cells, wherein the fire-extinguishing unit includes a fire-extinguishing pack containing a fire-extinguishing material and at least one breaking unit interposed between the battery cell and the fire-extinguishing pack.
Sprinkler assemblies
A sprinkler assembly including an outlet frame defining a sprinkler longitudinal axis and an outlet with a pair of frame arms defining a first plane. A deflector is coupled to the frame arms with the deflector having an upper surface and a lower surface orthogonal to the longitudinal sprinkler axis. The deflector includes a plurality of tines defining a plurality of slots between the tines. The tines include a terminal portion having a terminal edge. A first symmetric tine is aligned with the pair of frame arms with the first symmetric tine being symmetric about the first plane and a second symmetric tine is symmetric about a second plane perpendicular to the first plane. A pair of asymmetric tines is disposed about and adjacent the first symmetric tine with the terminal edge of the first symmetric tine closer to the second plane than the terminal edges of the asymmetric tines.

Temperature-sensing and automatic on and off fire extinguishing device
A temperature-sensing and automatic on and off extinguishing device includes: a valve body (1), a sealing auxiliary member (2), a sealing pad (3), a magnetic ring (4), a lower magnetic ring sleeve (5), an upper magnetic ring sleeve(6), a first temperature-sensing element (7), a bi-directional spacer (8), a large reset spring (9), a valve cover (17), a second temperature-sensing element (13), an actuating sleeve (12), a small reset spring (14), a connecting element (10), a sealing sleeve (18), a screw (11), a magnetic core rod (21) and a sealing cap (22). When a fire occurs, the first temperature-sensing element (7), affected by the rise of the surrounding environmental temperature, pushes the bi-directional spacer (8) to move upward.

SPRINKLER HEAD WITH SMA SPRING AND COOLING APERTURES
A sprinkler head for use in a structure for the delivery of a liquid includes a housing, a sleeve, a cap, a spray assembly, a return spring and an SMA spring. The sleeve includes a first portion which is positioned in the housing. The cap is threadedly assembled with the housing. The spray assembly is assembled to a second portion of the sleeve. The return spring is positioned between the cap and the first portion. The SMA spring is positioned between the cap and the spray assembly. The sleeve is movable relative to the housing in order to open a liquid flow path due to activation of the SMA spring resulting from an elevated temperature.
PROTECTION DEVICE FOR BATTERY, BATTERY, BATTERY PACK, AND VEHICLE
A protection device includes a casing assembly, a sealing film, and a temperature-sensitive actuating piece. A receiving chamber for receiving an inert gas is defined in the casing assembly. One end of the receiving chamber is provided with an opening. The sealing film is disposed at the opening to seal the receiving chamber. The actuating piece is disposed in the receiving chamber, and the actuating piece is provided with a piercing protrusion. When the actuating piece is deformed, the piercing protrusion pierces the sealing film.
