MIXED JET FLOW FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM

Disclosed is a mixed jet flow fire extinguishing system, including a water spray nozzle and a powder spray nozzle. A water spray port of the water spray nozzle and a powder spray port of the powder spray nozzle do not overlap; super absorbent resin powder sprayed from the powder spray nozzle is externally mixed in the air with a water flow sprayed from the water spray nozzle. A powder spray direction A of the powder spray nozzle is inclined relative to a water flow spray direction B of the water spray nozzle. The technical bottleneck of using sodium polyacrylate resin powder as a fire extinguishing agent in the prior art is solved, so that the sodium polyacrylate resin powder can be smoothly and continuously sprayed into a fire, without blocking the powder spray port.

A fire extinguisher includes a liquid fire extinguishing media, and first and second gases inside of a storage vessel at an operating pressure, and a discharge tube extending between a control valve and the fire extinguishing media. At least a portion of the first gas is dissolved in the fire extinguishing media. The control valve can be operated to control discharge of the fire extinguishing media via the discharge tube whereupon at least a portion of the second gas enters a flow of the fire extinguishing media via one or more holes in the discharge tube forming bubbles of the second gas in the flow of the fire extinguishing media. The fire extinguishing media exiting the control valve can pass through a nozzle which can causing first and second portions of the fire extinguishing media to collide forming a plume mist of the fire extinguishing media.

A fire-suppression technology system has a tank with outlet and inlet orifices. A reservoir has a dispensing orifice. The tank receives water. The reservoir receives a quantity of powder adapted to be converted to a fire-suppressing fluid when mixed with water. A pump operatively couples the tank and the reservoir. A hose is operatively coupled to the pump. A spool is supports the hose. A primary path of travel constitutes a closed loop path between the tank and the pump and the reservoir to create a fire-suppressing fluid. A secondary path of travel constitutes an open path for dispensing the fire-suppressing fluid from the tank and the pump toward a region to be controlled.
