Pickleball Ball Holder
Apparatuses for organizing pickleball balls are described. An example pickleball ball holder comprises a surface board, and one or more projections installed on the surface board to extend outwardly from the surface board. A projection of the one or more projections is configured to hold a pickleball ball by being positioned to penetrate in at least one aperture of the pickleball ball. The thickness of the projection is smaller than the diameter of the at least one of the apertures, and the projection is configured to loosely enter the at least one aperture without substantial friction.
Ball launching net post system
A ball launching net post system for ball courts integrates automated ball launching, environmental monitoring, net tension control, and weatherproofing within a pair of multifunctional net posts. Each net post houses a ball launcher comprising opposing wheels driven by servomotors to propel balls through apertures in the post. Controllers integrated into each net post monitor court humidity, wind, and weather conditions while enabling remote operation of the ball launchers via smartphone or smartwatch. A weatherproofing system enhances ventilation and prevents water intrusion, safeguarding internal components. The system includes a net tension mechanism and height sensor, connected to the controllers, to maintain net height automatically. Adjustable ball trajectories are achieved by varying launcher wheel speeds and housing tilt angles. The ball launching net post system maximizes court space, improves practice versatility, and increases equipment durability by transforming passive net posts into intelligent, active court infrastructure.
Noise Reduction Pickleball
A ball used for certain practice and sporting events for the game of pickleball where the ball comprises a plastic outer shell having at least one opening where the openings or coatings may include dampening properties that reduce the noise when the ball impacts a paddle, or the court surface/ground. The ball may be spherical, hollow shell ball with at least one opening. The ball may have at least one opening where the shape of the opening comprises a hole with a slot intersecting the hole. Also, the openings in the ball may have tapered edges, rounded and/or stair stepped edges. Also, the exterior of the ball may have a dampening tape or coating applied to the interior or exterior of the ball.
RACQUET GAME SCORING ARRANGEMENT
A paddle game scoring arrangement includes a housing, a display arrangement, a plurality of labels, and an input arrangement. The display arrangement is designed to display the current score and service. The input arrangement is designed to permit a user to input and change score and service numbers to display the current score and service on the display arrangement. The housing is sufficiently small to fit on or in the butt end or neck portion of a paddle and not substantially interfere with use of the paddle in a paddle game including pickleball, tennis, paddleball, or similar game that utilizes paddles or similar devices.
Paddle technology
A pickleball paddle with novel core characteristics and/or materials, and related systems, methods, and articles of manufacture are provided.
Pickleball ball
A pickleball ball is provided for increasing durability, improving performance, and/or reducing the loudness and/or frequency of sound generated when said ball strikes a paddle. The ball being a hollow ball comprised of a spherical shell defining a hollow cavity. The ball is made of a graphene-infused polymer material and the shell defines a plurality of holes distributed around the surface of the ball.
Pickleball net
Provided is a net system comprising a frame, a first and second vertical riser each connected to opposite sides of the frame, a top cord connected to the distal end of each vertical riser, a bottom cord connected to a proximal end of each vertical riser, and a net suspended by the top cord. The top cord and bottom cord are balanced in tension by the flexible vertical risers. When the proximal end of the vertical riser is urged towards the center of the net, by action of a hinge between proximal and distal ends of each vertical riser, the distal end of the vertical riser is moved outward, thus tensioning the top cord.
Paddle-mounted hook apparatus for retrieving pickleballs
A retrieval apparatus attaches to the handle of a paddle, thereby enabling the user to retrieve pickleballs, with minimal bending. The apparatus comprises a hook and a base. The base has a first half and a second half. The hook has a stem in an L-shape when the apparatus is mounted on the paddle and the paddle is held upright, a curved body, and an end-point. The end-point is angled at least 30 degrees relative to the horizontal plane of the stem. The second half of the base includes various attachment mechanisms for securing the apparatus to a paddle handle, which include: an affixed channel with a snapping mechanism, a breathable slit, an adhesive, or a form-fitting sleeve.
Sound-dampening pad for a paddle
A sound-dampening pad for a paddle used in a paddle sport that uses a ball, the pad including a cushion material disposed on a first side of the pad; an adhesive disposed on a second side of the pad configured to attach the pad the paddle; wherein the cushion material reduces the sound of the paddle striking the ball.
Device to releasably secure pickleballs
A pickleball holder may include a shaft and a spring mechanism. The shaft may have a diameter sized to fit through one or more holes in a pickleball. The spring mechanism may be at least partially within the shaft and may be configured to compress as the spring mechanism passes through a hole of the one or more holes and to expand when the spring mechanism is outside of the hole to releasably secure one or more pickleballs. In some embodiments, the pickleball holder may include a cord coupled to an end of the shaft.
