EXERCISE APPARATUS AND METHOD OF PHYSIOTHERAPY
An improved method of physiotherapy includes loading muscles of a torso of a user with a torque acting substantially about a vertical axis; and the user using an exercise equipment while the torso is loaded with the torque.
Exercise apparatus
An improved exercise equipment including a stationary exercise apparatus, a lever arm pivotably biased about a pivot axis, and a support for supporting the lever arm above the stationary exercise apparatus. The pivot axis extends substantially in a vertical direction. The stationary exercise apparatus is of a type to cause the legs of a user to scissor as the user operates the stationary exercise apparatus. In an exemplary embodiment, the stationary exercise apparatus is a treadmill.
Full Body Aerobic Exercise Machine
An exercise apparatus orienting foot pedals and handlebars having first and second rotating armatures for generating subtended paths of rotation, with motors to revolve the first and second rotating armatures in opposite directions and allowing the subtended paths to migrate from a first two-dimensional plane into a second two dimensional plane and back into the first two-dimensional plane.
Full body exercise equipment
Full body exercise equipment including four elongate rails arranged in a generally side-by-side longitudinal configuration. The four elongate rails are connected together to allow for selected angular arrangements between the rails and also allow for selected longitudinal arrangements between the rails. A slidable shuttle member is provided on each rail with the two inside rails having toe holds and the two outside rails having hand grips. A resilient cord is provided for each shuttle for selectable attachment to either end of the shuttle to provide selected resistance against slidable movement of the shuttle in either direction on a respective rail.
LATERAL GLIDE ELLIPTICAL EXERCISE APPARATUS
A lateral glide elliptical exercise apparatus includes a frame defining a center line, a pair of pedal units disposed at two opposite lateral sides relative to the center line each including a pivoting block and a pedal shaft pivotally connected to the pivoting block, a damping unit for providing a damping resistance to the pedal units, and a pair of gliding guide units respectively mounted at the frame, each gliding guide unit includes a gliding guide, an actuation block and a linkage arranged so that the actuation block can be driven by the associating linkage to slide smoothly between an inner end portion and an outer end portion of the associating gliding guide when the pedal units are being alternately pedaled by the user.
ELLIPTICAL STEPPER
An elliptical stepper includes a base, a damping device mounted on the base, two crank devices respectively laterally mounted to two opposite sides of the damping device. Each crank device has a stepping device mounted thereon and each stepping device has a roller set mounted to a bottom thereof, wherein the roller set is universally rolled relative to a corresponding one of the two stepping device. The base includes two opposite sides each having a guiding structure disposed thereon. Each guiding structure includes at least one rail having a front end outwardly extending relative to a center line of the base. Each roller set is moved along a corresponding one of the two guiding structures such that each stepping device provides a wiggling effect when moved along an elliptical route.
Elliptical machine capable of realizing three-dimensional pedaling training
An elliptical machine includes a machine frame and two pedal units each including a vertical arm having a top end pivotally connected to the machine frame and swingable back and forth, a driving main arm having a front end arranged on an opposing bottom end of the vertical arm in a vertically swingable manner, a pedal mount arranged on an opposing rear end of the driving main arm and swingable left and right, a pedal arranged on the pedal mount and swingable left and right, a slanting rod having a front end arranged on the vertical arm in a vertically swingable manner and an opposing rear end arranged on the pedal mount in a universally rotatable manner, and a rocking link that has a front end arranged on the rear end of the driving main arm and swingable back and forth and up and down.
Leg exercise machine
A leg exercise machine includes a frame and a swinging mechanism. The swinging mechanism includes two parallel tubes, four swinging rods and two pedals. The tubes are supported on the frame. Each of the pedals is connected to two corresponding ones of the swinging rods. Each of the universal joints connects a corresponding end of a corresponding one of the tubes to an upper end of a corresponding one of the swinging rods.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR VIRTUAL WALKING
A device for visual walking includes an omnidirectional exercise machine and foot wearable devices. A method for visual walking is applied to the device for visual walking. When a user wears the omnidirectional exercise machine and uses the loading frame to adjust a height of the omnidirectional exercise machine, and wears the foot wearable devices to stand and run on a running plate, human body posture data is obtained by tracking a human body torso. Then displacement data of left and right feet is obtained by tracking the feet. A virtual position and a movement speed of the feet are respectively obtained according to the displacement data, the leg posture is inferred by the IK algorithm according to the virtual position and the walking action of the virtual character is controlled according to the human body posture data, the movement speed of the feet, and the leg posture.
