Freestanding Structural Display Apparatus for Sport Goalpost
A freestanding structural display apparatus for sport goalpost includes a freestanding media structure, a main computing device, and a sporting game-scoring structure. The freestanding media structure includes a frame, a control room, a hospitality suite, a plurality of display panels, a lower display ring, and a plurality of output panels. The frame is fully enclosed by the plurality of display panel and the plurality of output panels. The lower display ring is laterally connected around the frame at the ground level. The control room and hospitality suite are internally connected to the frame as the main computing device is positioned within the control room. The sporting game-scoring structure is connected to the frame and positioned atop a top panel of the plurality of display panels. The lower display ring, the plurality of output panels, and the game-scoring structure are electrically connected to the main computing device thus allowing multiple game-plays.
Tennis playing robotic device
Provided is a system for robotic collaboration. A first robotic device includes a tangible, non-transitory, machine readable medium storing instructions that when executed by a processor of the first robotic device effectuates first operations including: receiving first information from a processor of a second robotic device; actuating the first robotic device to execute a first action based on the first information; and transmitting second information to the processor of the second robotic device. The second robotic device includes a tangible, non-transitory, machine readable medium storing instructions that when executed by the processor of the second robotic device effectuates second operations including: receiving the second information transmitted from the processor of the first robotic device; actuating the second robotic device to execute a second action based on the second information; and transmitting third information to the processor of the first robotic device.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR GENERATING SPORTS ANALYTICS WITH A MOBILE DEVICE
Methods and systems for real-time generation of ball shot analytics are disclosed. The methods and systems perform steps for ball and posture detection, ball and posture flow generation, shot event identification and classification, and shot analytics generation based on identified shot events and shooter posture flow. Embodiments of the present invention use computer vision techniques to enable a resource-limited mobile device such as a smartphone to conduct the aforementioned steps. Therefore, the present invention may be implemented using a processor on a single mobile computing device. Also disclosed are benefits of the new methods, and alternative embodiments of implementation.
METHOD, COMPUTER PROGRAM, APPARATUS AND SYSTEM
A method includes obtaining position information relating to an object in a sporting event, determining, based on the position information, that a start event has occurred, wherein the start event indicates a start of play of the sporting event, and generating, according to a result of the determination, an instruction to start storing position information relating to the object.
Sports equipment with alterable characteristic
Articles of sports equipment, such as striking implements (e.g., sticks) and wearable articles (e.g., skates, helmets) for playing hockey or other activities, in which at least one of the characteristics (e.g., stiffness) of the articles of sports equipment is adaptable and can be altered during use of the sports equipment, such as by comprising an alterable component coupled to a controller, by comprising an alterable component that is autonomously alterable, and/or by an alterable component that can be altered in response to a command of a remote device.
SYSTEMS, METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR BALL GAMES
Systems and methods for a ball game comprising a playing field having a modified soccer goal wherein said goal having a foldable stand placed above its center holding a rigid basket and at least one playing ball wherein said ball is spherical in shape and having extruded ribs, wherein said ball have at least one sensor is embedded in it to allow detection of said ball location in said field.
BASKETBALL ARCHITECTURE
A basketball system comprising a court system having shot locations defined by shot location lines on the play surface and the shot areas defined by shot area lines on the play surface, and a goal system comprising a respective backboard suspended above the play surface at each opposing farthest end of the play surface, an instrumentation system comprises sensors to detect activities within the boundary line of the court system, and a respective penalty box for each team in which players, coaches, and referees can serve a penalty assessed for an infraction.
System and method for content and style predictions in sports
A system and method for generating a play prediction for a team is disclosed herein. A computing system retrieves trajectory data for a plurality of plays from a data store. The computing system generates a predictive model using a variational autoencoder and a neural network by generating one or more input data sets, learning, by the variational autoencoder, to generate a plurality of variants for each play of the plurality of plays, and learning, by the neural network, a team style corresponding to each play of the plurality of plays. The computing system receives trajectory data corresponding to a target play. The predictive model generates a likelihood of a target team executing the target play by determining a number of target variants that correspond to a target team identity of the target team.
PORTABLE DRILL INSTRUCTOR FOR A SPORT
A method for portable drill instruction for a sport can include: capturing a live video of a player of the sport in a venue for the sport playing a ball launched from a ball machine during a training drill for the player conducted in the venue; determining in response to the live video whether or not the player satisfies a training goal of the training drill when playing the ball; and providing a real-time feedback to the player during the training drill that indicates to the player whether or not the training goal is satisfied.
