Exercise Bike and Handlebar Assembly

An exercise bike and a handlebar assembly are provided. The handlebar assembly includes: a rod-shaped handlebar; a support post; a first connecting component comprising a first recess, and further comprising a first tenon and a second tenon; a second connecting component comprising a first side, a second side away from the first side and a sidewall connecting the first side to the second side, wherein the second side of the second connecting component is provided with a second recess, and further provided with a first mortise and a second mortise. When the second recess is aligned with the first recess, a first through-hole is formed for the handlebar passing through, the first tenon is inserted in the first mortise, and the second tenon is inserted in the second mortise. The handlebar assembly can be easily assembled to the exercise bike.

Basketball launching device with off of the dribble statistic tracking

Systems and methods for tracking off of the dribble shooting statistics are provided. An ejector launches basketballs to a user selected subset of pass receipt locations spaced apart about a basketball playing area. A controller receives data from an interface representing the user selected subset of the pass receipt locations and certain of the pass receipt locations in the subset where the player intends to perform a pre-shooting basketball move immediately before receiving the pass or making the shooting attempt and commands the ejector to launch at least one basketball to each of the pass receipt locations in the subset. Data is received from a detector indicating made basketball shots, and a performance report is generated with feedback for each of the pass receipt locations in the subset with a qualifier associated with at least some of the feedback indicating off of the dribble shooting.

System of and method for scoring golf

A system for and method of scoring a game of golf is provided. A stroke baseline, a points baseline, and a stroke count are utilized to calculate a hole score for each hole. The stroke baseline is typically derived from the par value for a hole, while the stroke count is typically the total strokes required to complete the hole, including any penalty strokes. Typically, the points baseline for each hole is equal to the distance, in yards, between the player's tee-up location and a target location of the hole, the target location being a location on the putting green. Each player selects a tee-up location for each hole, thereby allowing each player to influence the baseline score for each hole. A performance factor is determined for each hole based on the player's performance on that hole.

Data-collecting exercise device

An exercise device comprises a rigid rod having a first and second ends, a plurality of light sources arranged in a row along at least a portion of an axis extending between the first and second ends of the rigid rod, at least one load sensor for detecting an applied longitudinal force, and a processor coupled to the at least one load sensor and to the plurality of light sources. The processor is configured to execute machine-executable instructions that cause the processor to obtain a signal indicating a magnitude of the applied longitudinal force, and cause a subset of the plurality of light sources to emit light. A ratio of a number of light sources in the subset to a total number of the plurality of light sources represents the magnitude of the applied longitudinal force relative to a reference longitudinal force.

A system for a manual treadmill having a tread that rotates around a front axle and a rear axle and side rails on opposing sides of the tread includes a brake configured to slow rotation of at least one of the front axle or the rear axle, a controller, and a first presence sensor in communication with the controller, the first presence sensor positioned on a side rail and configured to detect a user on the side rail. The brake is not normally engaged during operation of the treadmill when the tread is moving and the first presence sensor does not detect the user on the side rail. The controller is configured to, in response to the first presence sensor subsequently detecting the user on the side rail, engage the brake.

Multi-sensor monitoring of athletic performance
11590392 · 2023-02-28 · ·

Athletic performance monitoring systems and methods, many of which utilize, in some manner, global positioning satellite (“GPS”) data, provide data and information to athletes and/or to equipment used by athletes during an athletic event. Such systems and methods may provide route information to athletes and/or their trainers, e.g., for pre-event planning, goal setting, and calibration purposes. Such systems and methods optionally may provide real time information to the athlete while the event takes place, e.g., to assist in reaching the pre-set goals. Additionally, data and information collected by such systems and methods may assist in post-event analysis for athletes and their trainers, e.g., to evaluate past performances and to assist in improving future performances.

Automated physical training system

Systems, methods and computer readable media comprising a virtual exercise board, which is represented by images on the screen of a pad device; wearable devices configured to attach to each shoe of a user and to collect and transmit touch data to the pad device; cameras for tracking movement and calibrating with the data collected by the wearable devices; and computer programs for collecting user data, processing user data, and generating outputs. In embodiments, features include augmented reality; ratings of performance; automated workouts/protocols; real-time progress bar; multi-location database capabilities; and reports.

Disclosed are biofeedback methods and devices suitable for providing biofeedback useful for helping a user control an own breathing, for example, to help in inducing deep breathing, and such biofeedback devices further comprising a dispenser for dispensing an inhalable substance.

EXERCISING APPARATUS

An exercise apparatus includes a frame and a load mechanism disposed on the frame. The load mechanism has a plurality of selectable weights with each of the selectable weights having an associated indicator device. A press is mechanically coupled to the load mechanism to displace a load based on a selected weight and a sensor is disposed to measure an extent and speed of displacement of the load. A processor is in communication with the sensor, and the processor is configured to determine an indicator signal to send to the indicator device of one of the plurality of selectable weights of the load mechanism based on received performance data, the indicator signal used to indicate which one of the plural of weights to select.
