Ice hockey practice target
An ice hockey practice target is provided, the target comprising a first substantially tubular portion, including a first end attached to a base and a second end constructed and arranged to engage an upper horizontal goal crossbar, and a second tubular portion attached to the base, the second tubular portion constructed and arranged to engage and secure a lower end of a vertical goal post.
Collapsible Portable Sport Goal
This disclosure primarily concerns sports goals. In an aspect, some of these sports goals are collapsible and/or portable. In some novel configurations, a sports goal might be collapsible into an easily carried configuration without any need to disassemble its frame. In another configuration, a sports goal might have frame members that fold using a novel hinge mechanism that enables the plurality of frame members to collapse compactly. In another configuration, a sports goal might have a novel hinging extension mechanism to allow for larger goals to be more compactly collapsed for easier transport and storage or for alternate goal configurations to collapse down more compactly. In yet another configuration, a sports goal might have frame members that fold using a novel hinge mechanism that holds in its current configuration—open or collapsed—resulting in higher stability for both more rigorous play and easier transport and storage.
ALL SURFACE, COUNTER-WEIGHTED, TEETERING, FREE-STANDING, MOBILE FIELD SPORT SHOOTING TARGET DEVICE AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING SAME
A mobile, free standing field sport shooting target device, including a pole having a first end and a second end, wherein an opening is located at the first and second ends of the pole, a counter weight plate having a plurality of openings, wherein the counter weight plate is located adjacent to the first end of the pole, and a collar operatively connected to the first end of the pole, wherein the collar has a first end and a second end such that the counter weight plate is located adjacent to the first end of the collar and the collar is used to retain the counter weight on the first end of the pole, and wherein a distance between the first end of the pole and the second end of the collar can be adjusted.
Foldable basketball stand
A foldable basketball stand has at least one hoop on a rear surface of a backboard on an upper half of an upper portion of a front frame. A middle portion of left/right front rod of the front frame has a first and a second left/right joints respectively. Rear/front ends of a left-top rod and a left-bottom rod of a left frame are connected to a left-middle rod/the left-front rod respectively. Rear/front ends of a right-top rod and a right-bottom rod of a right frame are connected to a right-middle rod/the right-front rod respectively. Two ends of left/right supporting rod are connected to a middle portion of the left/right top rod and the left/right front rod respectively. An upper portion of a rear frame has a stop portion. Left/right sides of the rear frame are connected to the left/right middle rods through left/right connecting rods respectively.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ASSISTING CHILDREN IN LEARNING AND IMPROVING UPON AIM IN BASKETBALL AND OTHER SPORTS ACTIVITIES
A system and method are disclosed for assisting children in learning and improving upon aim in basketball and other sports. The system is adapted for use with a basketball rim secured to a post or a mount, the basketball rim having a recessed portion. The system includes a retainer ring for insertion within or securing to the recess in the basketball rim; and one or more targets secured to the retainer ring, each target comprising a head portion connected to a stem. The target may be a traditional bullseye, a cartoon character, a letter, a number, among many other examples. In use, a child aims for the target, which is positioned just above the basketball rim, as opposed to the rim itself. In so doing, the child positions the basketball for a successful basket and not a rebound off the rim. The system also is configurable for other youth sports, including soccer and baseball as examples.
Sports training device and methods of use
A training device for use with a goal having a pair of posts and a crossbar, includes a pair of side panels, each side panel being disposed adjacent each of the pair of posts, each side panel including a pair of first arms disposed parallel with the pair of posts, upper and lower transverse members extending between the pair of first arms, a first netting covering the area defined by the pair of first arms, and the upper and lower transverse members, and at least one hinge coupling one of the first arms to an adjacent post.
ROTARY LIFT ADJUSTABLE BASKETBALL GOAL
An adjustable basketball goal pivotally secured to a fixed support post with pairs of interengaged pivoted lever arms. A height adjustment mechanism is secured to the support post with a unidirectional activation connection bar extending therefrom pivotally interconnected to a pair of goal lever arm supports. A gear rack portion on the activation connection bar is positioned for registration within a double gear reduction drive engagement assembly having a user engagement crank arm extending therefrom providing selective directional rotation incrementally to elevate and lower the basketball goal in relation to the support post. A handle integrated automatic height adjustment braking system is provided assuring the goal assembly is retained in position during raising and lowering thereof.
USER CONFIGURABLE TRAILER
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, coordinate dynamic adjustments of a trailer based in part on a user profile associated with a user physically present at the trailer and an activity profile associated with an activity selected to be performed at the trailer.
