Sports training system
A sports training system includes an array of break beam sensors. Each sensor is configured to detect a passage of an object, such as a hockey puck, between adjacent posts and provide information for the passage to a controller communicatively attached to the array of sensors. A mobile application is configured to receive information from the controller and provide, for presentation to a user, passage statistics for the passages completed by one or more players. Servers are located in at least one data center. The servers are configured to receive and store the passage statistics and to provide access to the passage statistics.

PORTABLE GOAL FOR PLAYING A GAME
A device and methods for playing a game are provided. The game utilizes a goal. In one embodiment, the goal resembles a cube. A user can stand outside the perimeter of the goal and can throw an object, such as, for example, a ball, into the goal. The size of the goal can be adjustable.
APPARATUS FOR IMPROVING AND FINE-TUNING THE SCORING SKILLS OF A HOCKEY PLAYER
An apparatus for use in conjunction with a goal having a frame defining an opening is provided. The apparatus includes at least two movable blockers adapted to selectively define a target space within the opening. First and second blockers are perpendicular and mounted on portions of the frame. The first blocker has a pair of opposed horizontal first free edges defining a first free space between the first free edges and movable in a vertical direction to increase or decrease the first free space therebetween. The second blocker has a pair of opposed vertical second free edges defining a second free space between the second free edges and movable in a horizontal direction to increase or decrease the second free space therebetween. The first free space and the second free space define the target space.
PORTABLE GAME ASSEMBLY AND METHODS FOR PLAY
A portable tower assembly for use in ball throwing games includes a three or more connected panels, each panel having a top end, a bottom end, and two lateral edges. The three or more connected panels form an enclosure having an interior space, wherein a different number of apertures are formed on each respective outer face of the panels, and wherein a width of each of said three or more connected panels tapers in decreasing width from said respective bottom end to said top end. The panels are connected via the mating of T-shaped male tabs formed on the lateral edges of one or more panels, with correspondingly shaped and sized female slots formed on the interior surfaces of adjacent panels.
Adjustable pitching trainer
A pitching target assembly for training baseball or softball pitchers. A target defines a plurality of zones, each being backed by a pocket or pouch for catching the baseball or softball. The height of the target can be adjusted to match that of a batter. The zones of the target may be adjusted as well, to tailor the targeting within the zone for specific purposes. The target may also be configured at an acute angle relative to a base plane of the pitching target assembly for practicing drop pitches.
EVENT SYSTEM AND METHOD
A method for operating an event with a plurality of participants comprising: providing an event environment through selection of an at least partially enclosed multigoal arena containing goal apertures positioned within walls of the arena and including selecting one or more properties of the multigoal arena; introducing participants into the arena; and commencing an activity by the participants by selecting at least one event mode and applying that mode to the event environment to generate an event state; such that predictability of the event state within the event environment is adaptable.
USER CONFIGURABLE TRAILER
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, coordinate dynamic adjustments of a trailer based in part on a user profile associated with a user physically present at the trailer and an activity profile associated with an activity selected to be performed at the trailer. A dynamic adjustment may modify a tilt of a lower surface of the trailer. A dynamic adjustment may modify a dimension(s) of the trailer based in part on a detected object(s). Various dynamic adjustments may occur concurrently, individually and/or sequentially. The trailer may be a moveable trailer for temporary attachment with a vehicle.
Portable Disc Sport Training Apparatus
A portable training apparatus including a collapsible frame and a net is provided. The collapsible frame includes a pair of base supports, a pair of vertical poles, and a horizontal pole. The base supports rest on a support surface. Each vertical pole is secured to a mid-section of a corresponding base support and projects upwards therefrom. The horizontal pole is disposed generally perpendicular to the vertical poles and is secured between the mid-sections of the base supports. The net is releasably secured to the vertical poles and the horizontal pole. The net includes one or more pockets built thereinto for receiving and retaining a sporting projectile, for example, a disc, thrown thereinto during practicing of disc golf drives, approach shots, and putts. Each pocket includes a top opening and a bottom opening integrated into the net for receiving and allowing removal of the sporting projectile, respectively.
Random launching and adjustable aperture catching game
A catching game that is challenging even when played by one player. The catching game is a paddle-sized hand-held device that preferably incorporates an automatic launcher and an adjustable aperture catcher on the same hand-held device. The automatic launcher incorporates randomness into the launching mechanism, in order to increase the challenge to the player(s). The game also incorporates an electronic sensor to determine when a catch has been made.
