A cornhole game board providing an interchangeable faceplate display is provided. The game board includes a framework having a plurality of peripheral elements defining an opening into which a faceplate may be inserted. Each peripheral element may define a portion of a coplanar slot extending along the game board framework, wherein one of a plurality of faceplates may be slidably received or removed in the resulting coplanar slot. Thereby the game board provides a variety of interchangeable playing surfaces of cornhole.

A recreational activity and component pieces for that activity in which one or more participants toss a specially designed article that fits over at least the toe portion of their footwear, the toss using their lower extremities (leg and foot) in combination with upper body for balance and coordination. The activity can be adapted as a game in which the participants or players score points while sometimes negotiating obstacles or making goals depending on the game of choice. The disclosed flying ring game includes a flying ring and a rectangular game board having two opposing short ends and two lateral sides, wherein the rectangular game board is disposed at a ten degree angle from a flat reference and defines a circular opening proximal a short end. The flying ring game also comprises a light stick and base adjacent a middle of each of the opposing short ends and the lateral sides. Each light stick is mounted to an interconnecting base and has a rubber ball at its top and a light source adjacent the light stick. The flying ring game also includes a stand alone light stick having a circular base and a rubber ball at its top. A method of playing the disclosed flying ring game with multiple game boards and multiple interconnected light sticks and multiple stand alone light sticks is also included in the disclosure.

Disclosed herein is a portable outdoor game kit that includes (a) a portable carrying case; (b) a boundary configured to be positioned on a ground surface and formed into a predetermined shape; (c) a plurality of targets configured to be positioned within the boundary when the boundary is positioned on the ground surface and formed into the predetermined shape; (d) a plurality of offensive implements configured for throwing towards and/or into at least one of the plurality of targets while the game kit is in use; and (e) a plurality of blocking implements configured to block or impede movement of the offensive implements towards the plurality of targets while the game kit is in use. Systems and devices for a team game played on an obround court includes radially symmetric barriers defining cylindrical goals having circular openings concentric with the semicircles of the obround court. An annular halt zone extends around the barriers. A free throw line extends around each halt zone. An obround judge lane extends along the perimeter of the court and is occupied by two judges or referees that monitor the game, while another judge or referee remains inside the perimeter. The court is divided by a centerline which includes a circle at the center of the court. The outer wall of the barrier includes one or more video screens. Audience members can access a computer network to display images, text or video selected by them in real-time during gameplay. The ball used for the game has a surface texture provided by a plurality of square pebbles instead of rounded pebbles.

A special outdoor game that combines corn hole, bocce ball, and horseshoes as a beach game. The components include a pair of a target cups with a depth or may be substituted with rings for hard surfaces; two sets of balls or equal spherical, toss-able object, each of the set consists of four different color/design balls; and a pair of target stakes preferably round or tubular. The target stakes are used as a primary target for the game with the target cups permitting a player to score more points; a carrying bag or container; a measurement flag or equal; and a card explaining scoring and rules. The game can be played on a turf field, tennis court, sand field, sand beach, backyard, or parking lot. When played on a hard, firm surface, the target rings may be substituted for the target cups.

A gliding disc game assembly for tossing a flying disc through adjustable goal posts includes a frame. The frame has a ground base coupled to a pair of vertical bases. An upper base is coupled to an upper end of each of the vertical bases. A pair of stands is coupled to a lower end of each of the vertical bases. A ground surface of each of the stands has a stake that is inserted into the ground to anchor the frame. A pair of rungs is positioned in the center of the frame. Each of the rungs has a pair of inputs that are inserted into a respective one of a plurality of ports of each of the vertical bases. A goal is positioned on the upper base. A disc is thrown from the user towards the frame with intention of flying through a center space of the goal.

A portable outdoor game that may include a ramp, a target, and one or more projectiles. The ramp may include an elongated runner and an elevation structure. The elevation structure may be positioned at one end of the runner and lift that end of the runner from a playing surface, creating an angled incline in the runner relative to the playing surface. Projectiles may roll or slide across the runner in the direction of the elevation structure. The projectiles may become airborne after traveling over the elevation structure and land within or near the target.

A lighting apparatus for a bag toss game including a board having a hole is provided with a first light on a bottom of the hole; a controller on an underside of the board; a second light on edges of the board; and a remote controller for controlling both the first and second lights. The first light includes a laser sensor. The controller includes an internal PCB, a control chip on the PCB, and a vibration sensor on the PCB. Lighting is generated in response to bag hitting the board or entering the hole.
