The second robotic device includes a tangible, non-transitory, machine readable medium storing instructions that when executed by the processor of the second robotic device effectuates second operations including: receiving the second information transmitted from the processor of the first robotic device; actuating the second robotic device to execute a second action based on the second information; and transmitting third information to the processor of the first robotic device.
Measuring device / sensor system for measuring, transferring and processing of relevant performance data from training and competition in contact sports, in particular the physical contact and its force effect
Measuring device / sensor system for measuring, transferring and processing of relevant performance data from training and competition in contact sports, in particular the physical contact and its force effect
In practice and as far as possible, performance data in contact sports, in particular those of factual contact and force effect of relevant objects and persons to each other, are not surveyed separately but evaluated subjectively. In contact sports like martial arts this is especially critical, because an occurred contact and its force effect are the significant success data in these sports. In other types of contact sports, e.g. ball sports one is concentrated on the performance data, that lead to goal achievement (e.g. goal scoring) and is not looking objectively into the performance of participants for, for example, draw conclusions about the correct technique execution at any time in a game or competition. Though there are already measuring devices for some contact sports for detecting force effect and contact, these are limited to several defined single sensors and applications. Therefore it may be possible to make objective measurement but in case of doubt, a subjective evaluation of technique and point assignment is still necessary. This invention contains a system of measuring devices, that can, especially in martial arts sports, improve the point assignment and in other contact sports the evaluation of techniques. These special measuring devices for contact measuring and its movement and acceleration sensors, display systems and hardware interfaces can be combined with software interfaces and be tailored to fit different applications. In case of martial arts sports, the configuration of protective equipment with these measuring devices is one use case, in which the measuring devices detect all relevant data like contact, force effect and movement direction, that can be used for competition decisions.
ISOKINETIC OSCILLATION EXERCISE DEVICE AND METHOD OF PRODUCING SAME
An isokinetic oscillation exercise device of an elongated flexible blade having a first and second end and a grip portion coupled to a middle portion of the elongated flexible blade. End caps coupled to said first and second ends adapted to storage. Further, a method is disclosed of manufacturing an isokinetic oscillation exercise device that provides a flexible elongated flexible blade, a grip portion injection molding, a pliable ring injection moldings, and end caps injection molding; slides the pliable rings on the elongated flexible blade separated by a length of the grip portion, overmolds a first-shot of the grip portion over the pliable rings, overmolds a second-shot of the grip portion to the first-shot of the grip portion to the elongated flexible blade, seals the first-shot to the second-shot of the grip portion against the pliable rings; and attaches the end caps to the elongated flexible blade.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR USING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TO INDEPENDENTLY ADJUST RESISTANCE OF PEDALS BASED ON LEG STRENGTH
A method is disclosed for using an artificial intelligence engine to modify resistance of pedals of an exercise device. The method includes generating, by the artificial intelligence engine, a machine learning model trained to receive measurements as input, and outputting, based on the measurements, a control instruction that causes the exercise device to modify, independently from each other, the resistance of the pedals. While a user performs an exercise using the exercise device, the method includes receiving the measurements from sensors associated with the pedals. The method includes determining, based on the measurements, a quantifiable or qualitative modification to the resistance provided by a pedal of the pedals. The resistance provided by another pedal of the pedals is not modified. The method includes transmitting the control instruction to the exercise device to cause the resistance provided by the pedal to be modified.
IN-ACTIVITY VISUALIZATIONS IN A DISTRIBUTED ENVIRONMENT
The disclosed embodiments are directed toward improvements in user interfaces of fitness devices. In one embodiment, an improved user interface (UI) is disclosed whereby controls for adjusting the physical metrics of a fitness device are conveniently located. In another embodiment, a multimedia content functionality is described wherein users of fitness devices can record multimedia content and associate that multimedia content with metrics associated with exercise activity. In another embodiment, a fitness device is capable of streamlining multimedia content during the performance of an activity and can adjust multimedia streams during such an activity.
Differential air pressure exercise and therapeutic device
An exercise and therapeutic device includes a treadmill comprising a running belt coupled to a treadmill frame and an offloading system coupled to the treadmill. The offloading system includes an air chamber surrounding the running belt adapted to be selectively inflated between a deflated condition and an inflated, operating condition, a user seal coupled to the air chamber, adapted to receive a user so that, in an operating condition, at least a portion of a user is received in the user seal and positioned within the air chamber and to seal the air chamber around the user, a pump operable to inflate the air chamber, at least one strap coupled to the treadmill frame and adapted to restrict the expansion of the air chamber and adjust a spacing of the user seal relative to a running surface of the running belt when the air chamber is inflated.
Computer-implemented questionnaire for orthopedic treatment
A system for physical rehabilitation comprises a clinician interface including a patient profile display presenting data regarding performance of a regimen for a body part. A patient interface presents instructions and status information regarding the performance of the regimen. The patient interface further presents a questionnaire soliciting responses to questions pertaining to current and past physical conditions of the patient. Selected responses to the questions cause the system to take actions, including preventing operation of a treatment apparatus by the patient, and/or transmitting an alert message to a clinician. The alert message may be transmitted within the clinician interface and/or as a real-time message outside of the clinician interface. A questionnaire is presented to the patient in response to occurrence of a triggering event pertaining to the patient's use of the treatment apparatus.
USER INTERFACES FOR GROUP WORKOUTS
The present disclosure generally relates to sharing workout content on electronic devices.
Automated Interval Pacer
Implemented is an interval timer with pacer functionality (referred to herein as “interval pacer” for short), enabling a user to work out to a given pace and then automatically switches to a resting period when the pre-set pace is complete. The interval pacer may be an instantiated application on a user’s computing device, such as a smartphone, smartwatch, head-mounted display (HMD) device, etc., or may be a standalone application instantiated on a dedicated computing device specifically designed for the interval pacer application. The interval pacer application is adapted to enhance previous interval timer applications by providing a customizable pacer option which is virtually a fully customizable solution for a user to have an individualized exercise plan. In addition, the interoperation of the pacer with the interval timer enriches workout sessions by pushing the user to stick with the user-set pace for the user-designated period.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TARGETED NEUROLOGICAL THERAPY USING BRAINWAVE ENTRAINMENT WITH PASSIVE TREATMENT
A system and method for targeted neurological treatment using brainwave entrainment therapy with passive treatment that allows for targeted treatment of particular areas of the brain, particular neurological functions, particular neurological states, and combinations of areas, functions, and states. The system and method receive gait parameters for an individual and compare those against a database of historical gait data to determine if an onset neurodegenerative condition is present, and applies a brainwave entrainment therapy responsive to the determination of the condition. The system and method receive a neurological assessment identifying areas of the brain or neurological functions to be treated, select one or more treatment modalities and frequencies, select a treatment regimen, and apply brainwave entrainment using a treatment regimen while the subject engages in dual-task activities selected to stimulate the areas of the brain, neurological functions, or neurological states to be treated, enhanced, or altered.
