Exercise treadmill
A treadmill has a front or rear set of pulleys and a looped running belt. The pulleys rotate with the movement of the belt, e.g., when a user walks, jogs, or runs on the treadmill. The pulleys are mounted on a rotating roller tube so that the roller tube rotates with the pulleys. The roller tube is mounted on a stationary shaft using bearings on each side and a one-way device that allows the pulleys to rotate in one direction. The rotation direction corresponds to the movement of the top of the belt from the front to the rear of the treadmill. The one-way device prevents the pulleys from rotating in the opposite direction, preventing the top of the belt from moving from the rear of the treadmill to the front. The one-way device may be a sprag clutch. The treadmill may be a motor-less, curved treadmill.
Linear Powered Input Device
A linear powered input device that utilizes linear input from a user and converts the linear input rotational energy to perform work. The linear input is generated by lever arms having a slotted attachment at a pivot point that allows a free end of the lever arms to move linearly rather than in an arcuate path. The lever arms are connected to a power transmission mechanism that wraps around one or more drive wheels having one-way bearings mounted on one or more output shafts. The output shafts can be connected to any type of auxiliary device to perform the desired work. Output wheels may be mounted on the output shafts and operatively connected by a transmission link that allows linear motion of any lever arm in any allowable direction to cause the output shaft to rotate in the same rotational direction so as to receive continuous input.
EXERCISE MACHINE EMERGENCY MOTOR STOP
A safety signal is sent to a relay coupled to a plurality of power leads of a motor wherein a default state of the relay is to short the plurality of power leads together and wherein the safety signal maintains the relay in an open state. The safety signal to the relay is deasserted in response to a determination that an unsafe condition has occurred.
EXERCISE WEIGHT SUPPORT DEVICE ENHANCEMENTS
An exercise weight support device includes: a spool connected to a belt to suspend the device, the spool being rotatable to enable more or less of the belt to be wound therearound to change the device vertical position of the device; a ratchet wheel drivingly coupled to the spool to control rotation thereof; an outer frame having a cradle and/or a pair of hooks to support a bar of a free weight; a ratchet pawl connected to the outer frame at a fixed location relative thereto; and a trigger handle coupled to the spool to move the spool relative to the ratchet pawl between a non-operating position of the trigger handle causing the ratchet pawl and teeth of the ratchet wheel to engage, and an operating position of the trigger handle causing the ratchet pawl and the teeth of the ratchet wheel to disengage to control rotation of the spool.
FULL BODY FITNESS EQUIPMENT
A fitness device includes a main body, a left wing extending outwardly from the main body in a first direction, and a right wing extending outwardly from the main body in a second direction opposite the first direction. A cable extends from the main body to each of the left wing and the right wing. The fitness device further includes a gearbox, a spool assembly connected to an input end of the gearbox, a brake assembly connected to an output end of the gearbox, and a pulley assembly.
CLIMBING EXERCISE MACHINE
A climbing exercise machine includes a beam supported on two columns supported on a base. Two handles are movably supported on the columns, respectively. The handles are movable in opposite directions. Two treads are movably supported on the columns, respectively. The treads are movable in opposite directions. An input axle is supported on the columns. The input axle is rotated as the handles and the treads are moved. A transmission case connects the input axle to an output axle. A disc is connected to the output axle. A frame is connected to the beam. A resistance element is supported on the frame. The resistance element includes a magnet. The resistance element is movable relative to the disc to adjust magnetism exerted on the disc by the magnets.
Climbing Machine
Disclosed is a climbing machine including a rotatable rotation shaft (501), a plurality of one-way components (502) capable of achieving one-way transmission, a plurality of transmission units (503) and a plurality of climbing points (300, 400), where the one-way components (502) are connected to the rotation shaft (501) in a sleeving manner, each transmission unit (503) is connected to one climbing point (300, 400), and each transmission unit (503) and the rotation shaft (501) form one-way transmission by means of being connected to one one-way component (502); in one rotating direction, the rotation shaft (501) and the transmission units (503) are capable of being in transmission, and the climbing points (300, 400) descend during transmission; and in the direction opposite to the rotating direction, transmission between the rotation shaft (501) and the transmission units (503) cannot be achieved. By using the climbing machine, a user can experience a vivid feeling of climbing upwards, thereby improving the climbing experience.
Upper and lower body push and pull exercise machine with a one directional resistance mechanism and adjustable angle
An upper and lower body push and pull exercise machine with a rotatable one directional resistance mechanism and adjustable angle having a movable user support frame having a forward end and a rearward end and the rearward end is pivotable relative to the floor, an angle adjusting mechanism, movable lower body user supports having a foot support platform and a shin support pad operatively connected to the movable user support frame; movable upper body user supports having a gripping handle operatively connected to the movable user support frame, a linkage assembly operatively connected to all of the user supports, a rotatable one direction resistance mechanism operatively connected to the upper and lower body user supports for creating resistance to the exercise motion of the user supports, and a resistance mechanism drive assembly operatively connecting all of the user supports to the rotatable one direction resistance mechanism.
Manually powered treadmill
A manually powered treadmill includes a frame; a first rotatable element coupled to the frame; a second rotatable element coupled to the frame; a plurality of bearings coupled to the frame; a running belt at least partly supported by the plurality of bearings, where at least a portion of the running belt defines a curved running surface; and a safety device coupled to at least one of the first rotatable element and the second rotatable element. The safety device is structured to substantially prevent rotation of the at least one of the first rotatable element and the second rotatable element in a first rotational direction and permit rotation of the at least one of the first rotatable element and the second rotatable element in a second rotational direction opposite the first rotational direction.
