Treadmill with dynamic belt tensioning mechanism
A dynamic belt-tensioning apparatus for a treadmill includes a base having a first end and a second end spaced from the first end. A foot-striking platform is movably supported by the base so as to allow for vertical movement of the platform during operation of the treadmill. A drive belt has a fixed circumference and is positioned above a top portion of the platform. A drive roller is pivotally mounted adjacent to the first end of the base and engages the drive belt. A bell crank is pivotally coupled to the platform such that pivoting of the bell crank translates into movement of a tensioning roller that is pivotally mounted to the base and that is capable of a range of movement to provide substantially constant tension to the drive belt in response to vertical movement of the platform.
PRESSURE CHAMBER AND LIFT FOR DIFFERENTIAL AIR PRESSURE SYSTEM WITH MEDICAL DATA COLLECTION CAPABILITIES
A differential air pressure system has a pressure bag with windows and preferred folding configuration such that when the bag is folded no window is folded. The pressure bag is supported by a lift support that is proximal to a user control panel and adjacent to or nearly adjacent to the user who is coupled to the pressure bag. A treadmill base for use with differential air pressure equipment is provided. There are various improvements provided to adapt the operations of the DAP system via the use of separate pressure volume and non-pressure volume portions of the treadmill base. Various improvements to serviceability and repairs are provided by placement of components outside of the pressure volume portion or by providing one or more pressure volume access points.
TREADMILL AND PULLEY USED THEREIN
This application relates to a treadmill. In one aspect, the treadmill includes a frame structure, a track part configured to rotate with respect to the frame structure, and a rotation unit disposed in the frame structure and rotatably supporting the track part. The track part may include a plurality of slats arranged in a rotation direction and a track belt disposed at both end portions of the plurality of slats and connecting the plurality of slats. The rotation unit may include first rotation members disposed in front and rear of the frame structure. At least one of the first rotation members includes a plurality of grooves arranged apart from each other on an outer circumferential surface of the at least one of the first rotation members in a circumferential direction, to have a surface shape different from an inner circumferential surface of the track belt.
SLAT HAVING TRUSS STRUCTURE
Proposed is a slat having a truss structure, the slat including: a main body provided with a stepping part which receives the load of a user, and a coupling part which is formed on both sides of the stepping part and may be fixed to a track belt; and a truss part connected to the stepping part so as to distribute the load applied to the main body. Thus, since the load applied to the stepping part is distributed by a diagonal member part and a chord member part of the truss part, the bending of the main body caused by the load is minimized, and thus damage to the main body caused by the load may be prevented.
BICYCLE SIMULATOR
A bicycle simulator includes a base portion having a frame shape; a frame support portion supported by the base portion and supporting a bicycle frame connecting a front wheel of a mounted bicycle to a rear wheel of the mounted bicycle; a first treadmill extending in a running direction of the bicycle, supporting the front wheel of the bicycle, and rotating according to rotation of the front wheel; and a second treadmill extending in the running direction of the bicycle, supporting the rear wheel of the bicycle, and rotating according to rotation of the rear wheel, wherein the frame support portion is disposed between the first treadmill and the second treadmill.
TREADMILL HAVING A CURVED TREADMILL DECK
A treadmill having a curved treadmill deck is provided. Two curved side frames are disposed at two sides of the treadmill frame. Front and rear end ends of each curved side frame are higher than a middle section thereof. Inner sides of the two curved side frames are provided with a plurality of fixing seats, respectively. The fixing seats have fixing holes, respectively. An elastic deck is composed of a plurality of sheets connected side by side. The sheets each have perforations corresponding in position to the fixing holes of the respective fixing seats. A plurality of fixing pins are inserted in the perforations of the sheets of the elastic deck and secured to the fixing holes of the fixing seats. The elastic deck is forcibly fastened by the fixing pins and slightly deformed according to the curvature of the curved side frames to form the curved treadmill deck.
Weight Platform Treadmill
A treadmill includes a deck, a first pulley disposed in a first portion of the deck, a second pulley disposed in a second portion of the deck, a tread belt surrounding the first pulley and the second pulley, and a platform incorporated into the deck.
EXERCISE APPARATUS
The present invention relates to an exercise apparatus. The exercise apparatus includes a platform which has an endless belt revolved around it. The endless belt defines an exercising space. A left strap extends from a left front portion to a left rear portion of the exercising space, and a right strap extends from a right front portion to a right rear portion of the exercising space. The left strap and the right strap respectively have a first connecting part and a second connecting part which could be connected or detached with each other. When the two connecting parts are connected with each other, the left strap and the right strap form a retaining portion for resisting forward movement of a user. When the two connecting parts are detached, the left strap and the right strap could be positioned on a left side and a right side of the exercising space.
Treadmill
A computerized treadmill is provided. The treadmill deck may be fully suspended by a plurality of air suspension elements, such as bellows. The bellows may be pressurized by a computer-controlled compressor feeding a central air reservoir to which each bellows is connected via air hose. The bellows may be dampened to control expansion. A double hinge connecting the deck with frame may control lateral movement and reduce lateral load on the bellows. Incline and decline mechanisms facilitate a variety of deck angles. Control of the treadmill may be by computer, whether integrated or modular, whether traditional, laptop, tablet or smart phone. Control of the treadmill and conveyance of information associated with treadmill operation may be integrated with computer or smart phone applications, whether dedicated or third party.
TREADMILL ARRANGEMENT WITH MOTION-ADAPTIVE VIRTUAL RUNNING ENVIRONMENT
A treadmill arrangement, having a treadmill stand and an endless belt which runs over rollers mounted in the treadmill stand and is driven by a drive, with one surface of the endless belt serving as a walking or running surface. A motion state detection device is allocated to the treadmill to detect a motion state or a positional change of the legs and/or feet of the user relative to the treadmill stand and to obtain a control signal for the drive.
