MOVEMENT PLATFORM FOR BICYCLE TRAINER
20220054885 · 2022-02-24 ·

A bicycle training system and methods of using the same. The system includes a movement platform that rests on a support surface and supports a bicycle in an upright manner with respect to the support surface. The movement platform includes a support frame having a base and at least one upstanding arm that supportably engages a portion of a frame of the bicycle, a resistance assembly operatively coupled to a portion of a drivetrain of the bicycle that applies varying levels of resistance to the portion of the drivetrain, and a plurality of bushings isolating the base from the support surface. The plurality of bushings are spherical thereby permitting the movement platform to move with respect to the support surface in response to forces applied to the bicycle frame during use of the bicycle training system.

Enhanced environment simulator for proxy robot handlers
09821465 · 2017-11-21 ·

An omnidirectional treadmill environment simulator is disclosed. The omnidirectional treadmill environment simulator includes a circular simulator stage area, a plurality of transport mechanisms that maintain an object at or near the center of a circular simulator stage area and at least one processor. The processor is configured to collect position data of the object and process the position data to control the transport mechanisms. Also included is a receiver for receiving data from a remote location and a terrain analysis computer for processing the data received from the remote location. The terrain analysis computer collects the data received from the remote location to form an accurate simulation of an upcoming condition at the remote location. The omnidirectional treadmill environment simulator includes a transmitter for transmitting the position data to a remote location.

A shaft for a golf club includes a first end, a second end, and a demarcation. The first end is adapted to attach to a club head. The second end is adapted to receive a grip distal to the first end. The demarcation is positioned at or adjacent to the balance point of the golf club between the first end and the second end.

BICYCLE TRAINER AND METHOD OF ITS OPERATION
20170216678 · 2017-08-03 ·

Method for operating a bicycle trainer, and such a bicycle trainer comprising a stand with a seat, handlebars and rotatable pedals, or such a bicycle trainer comprising a stand for mounting a bicycle frame with a seat, handlebars and rotatable pedals, wherein the stand incorporates an electronically variable brake acting directly or indirectly on the rotatable pedals with a braking resistance that depends on a computer-controlled predetermined setting, wherein the pre-determined setting is variable and wherein said setting depends on selected parameters to reflect a simulated surface condition of a road.

STATIONARY BIKE
20170216662 · 2017-08-03 ·

A stationary bike has a main frame. The main frame has a base that is configured to be laid on the ground. The base has its end surface facing the ground provided with a plurality of elastic feet that are arranged symmetrically with intervals therebetween for pressing on the ground. The elastic foot is made of a soft, elastic material and contains therein an inner space defined by a circular wall. When the elastic foot receives an external force from the base, the circular wall of the elastic foot deform correspondingly, thereby allowing the main frame to jolt and simulate road-riding experience.
