Multi-sensor monitoring of athletic performance
Athletic performance monitoring systems and methods, many of which utilize, in some manner, global positioning satellite (“GPS”) data, provide data and information to athletes and/or to equipment used by athletes during an athletic event. Such systems and methods may provide route information to athletes and/or their trainers, e.g., for pre-event planning, goal setting, and calibration purposes. Such systems and methods optionally may provide real time information to the athlete while the event takes place, e.g., to assist in reaching the pre-set goals. Additionally, data and information collected by such systems and methods may assist in post-event analysis for athletes and their trainers, e.g., to evaluate past performances and to assist in improving future performances.

The wind direction and wind speed sensing device is movably connected to the main body and includes a sensing element. When the wind direction and wind speed sensing device moves to a sensing position, the sensing element is located outside the main body. The display device is located on a surface of the main body and electrically connected to the wind direction and wind speed sensing device to display a wind direction and wind speed information. The power source is configured to supply power to the wind direction and wind speed sensing device and the display device.
Method, electronic device, and storage medium for providing recommendation service
An electronic device includes a housing, a communication module positioned inside the housing, a processor positioned inside the housing and operatively connected with the communication module, a sensor module operatively connected with the processor, and a memory positioned inside the housing and operatively connected with the communication module, the sensor module, and the processor. The memory stores instructions configured to, when executed, enable the processor to gather data related to a first user, send a request for a user group corresponding to a first category among a plurality of categories to an external server using the communication module, obtain the user group corresponding to the first category based on at least part of the data related to the first user from the external server using the communication module, and provide information about at least one second user in the obtained user group.
MULTI-PART SENSING ELECTRODE CONNECTOR
A thin form of an electrical connector for creating a detachable connection between two circuit elements is disclosed. When the connector is employed, only an outer electrode present on a portion of the connector is exposed to the ambient environment and the rest of the electronics of both the connector and of a device into which the device is integrated can be insulated from the ambient environment. The parts of the connector can create a small three-dimensional interlock structure to seal off contact area and to facilitate electrical contacts between two circuit elements. The connector structure is flexible, allowing the connector to be embedded into a curved surface of a device that can use the electrode exposed to the environment to obtain data regarding the environment.
Fatigue measurement in a sensor equipped garment
An exercise feedback system determines muscle fatigue measurements using physiological data generated by a sensor-equipped athletic garment. The muscle fatigue measurement is determined by analyzing the frequency spread of the physiological data. The exercise feedback system may customize exercise programs, determine risks of injury, or generate biofeedback for presentation on graphical user interfaces using the muscle fatigue measurements. The exercise feedback system accesses pre-determined muscle fatigue measurement models that define criteria for the aforementioned features. For instance, if an athlete is becoming fatigued and exercising with improper form based on a muscle fatigue measurement, the exercise feedback system modifies the athlete's exercise program to help target and improve the athlete's weaknesses as well as to prevent injury.
Augmented extended realm system
A machine implemented method for simulated sports training includes the steps displaying a simulated environment having one or more virtual objects of a sporting event; displaying to a user a moving object in the simulated environment in accordance with object path data representing an object path and conditions of motion of the moving object as a function of time; correlating soundscape data to the object path data, the soundscape data being dependent on both object path of the moving object in the object path and the conditions of motion; and outputting sound to the user based on the correlated soundscape data either before or during displaying to the user the moving object, thereby providing spatial auditory clues for assisting tracking eye movements of the user to train the user to anticipate or recognize a trajectory of the moving object.
ALGORITHMIC SERVICE AND TRAINING RECOMMENDATIONS BASED ON DATA, AND ASSOCIATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Systems and methods for providing algorithmic training and service recommendations are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a method for treating a fatigue or an injury of an athlete includes: monitoring a first amplitude of a first muscle of the athlete by a first wearable muscle response sensor carried by the athlete; monitoring a second amplitude of a second muscle of the athlete by a second wearable muscle response sensor carried by the athlete; determining a difference between the first amplitude and the second amplitude; comparing the difference to a predetermined amplitude threshold; and based on the comparing, providing a treatment recommendation to the athlete.
Systems and methods for integrating electronics into a mouth guard
Mouth guard that includes a flexible printed circuit board encapsulated within a base member is provided. The flexible printed circuit board includes multiple separate stiff sections spaced apart from each other within the base member. One or more electronic devices are disposed within the base member. In particular, the one or more electronics are disposed on the base member.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SIGNAL PROCESSING REHABILITATION EXERCISE SIGNALS
The present disclosure relates to method and system for signal processing rehabilitation exercise signals. The method comprises the step of receiving a first and a second motion signals associated with movements of a body part, wherein the motion signals comprise temporal data of the movements. The method further comprises the step of segmenting each of the first and second motion signals into a plurality of segmented signals based on gradients of the motion signals, wherein each segmented signal has consistent gradient. The method further comprises the step of automatically modifying the segmented signals to form multiple combinations of matching signals with similar gradients between the first and second motion signals, such that the first and second motion signals are in one-to-one correspondence. The method further comprises the step of extracting corresponding time intervals of the matching signals in the correspondences.
TRAINING PROGRAM CUSTOMIZATION USING SENSOR-EQUIPPED ATHLETIC GARMENTS
An exercise feedback system monitors the performance of athletes wearing a garment with sensors while exercising. The sensors generate physiological data such as muscle activation data, heart rate data, or data describing the athlete's movement. The system extracts features from the physiological data and compares the features with reference exercise data to determine metrics of performance and biofeedback. Based on the physiological data, the system may also modify exercise training programs for the athlete. The exercise feedback system can display the biofeedback using visuals or audio, as well as modified exercise training programs, via the athlete's client device in real time while the athlete is exercising. By reviewing the biofeedback, the athlete may correct the athlete's exercise form to properly use the target muscles for the exercise, or change the certain workouts to personalize the training program.
