PLAY EXPERIENCE SYSTEM AND PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT STATUS ACQUISITION METHOD USING SAME
The disclosure of the present invention relates to a play experience system and a physical development status acquisition method using the same, which can precisely measure physical development items of users including children and juveniles by using play-type experience devices, and can acquire experience data based physical development status by analyzing a correlation between an experience instrument itself and the physical development item.
Voice assistant for wireless earpieces
A system, method, and wireless earpieces for implementing a virtual assistant. A request is received from a user to be implemented by wireless earpieces. A virtual assistant is executed on the wireless earpieces. An action is implemented to fulfill the request utilizing the virtual assistant. The wireless earpieces may be a set of wireless earpieces and the virtual assistant may be implemented independently by the wireless earpieces.
POSITIVE EXPIRATORY PRESSURE DEVICE
A positive exhalation pressure device increases the pressure gradient in the airways, thereby increasing oxygen saturation levels and decreasing the severity of hypoxia. Various embodiments of the device may be inserted into the nasal and/or oral cavities, or configured as mask devices covering the nasal and/or oral cavities. In some embodiments, the resistance of the device may be varied.
Apparatus, system, and method for reducing head or neck trauma
A system for reducing trauma in the head or neck of a living being caused by acceleration of the head relative to a torso of the living being within a range of motion. The system includes a support engaging at least one of the head, neck, and shoulder of the living being without limiting the range of motion of the head or neck relative to the torso; a sensor in electrical communication with the system; a user interface in electrical communication with the sensor; and a damper associated with the support that is configured to mitigate the position, speed or acceleration of the head relative to the torso in response to information received by the sensor or user interface.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL EXERCISE CHAIR FOR BODY STRETCHING
Disclosed is a multifunctional exercise chair for body stretching, comprising a wheelchair frame body, wherein a mounting frame is detachably mounted on an end of the wheelchair frame body away from the driving rear wheel and located under the seat cushion, a pedal gear is rotatably mounted at a bottom of the mounting frame and a pedal is provided thereon, a hand crank gear is rotatably mounted on a top of the mounting frame and a hand crank handle is provided thereon, a rotating shaft is provided between two driving rear wheels; a driven gear is fixedly mounted on the rotating shaft, a supporting chain gear is mounted on the mounting frame and arranged adjacent to the pedal gear, and the hand crank gear, the pedal gear, the driven gear and the supporting chain gear are wound and connected by a transmission chain.
Systems and methods for coordinating musculoskeletal and cardiovascular hemodynamics
Described herein are systems and methods for favorably coordinating a timing relationship between a musculoskeletal activity cycle and a cardiac cycle of a user. A method may include repetitively detecting a signal that correlates to a blood volume in the user; determining an actual value of the signal that varies with the timing relationship; computing a trend of the actual value of the signal; and adjusting the movement guidance based on the trend of the actual value. A system may include a prompt device configured to provide recurrently a movement guidance to the user for guiding performance of the rhythmic musculoskeletal activity; a sensor configured to provide a signal that correlates to a blood volume in the user; and a processor configured to determine an actual value of the signal that varies with the timing relationship and to adjust the movement guidance based on the trend of the actual value.
Electronic containment system for storing and charging an instrumented intra-oral appliance, and transmitting data therefrom
The present invention is a holding case for an instrumented intra-oral appliance containing recorded data, which charges the intra-oral appliance while not in use and transmits recorded data to storage for review and analysis. The transferred data may be subjected to downloading, validation, storage, analysis, measuring, database fusion (with for example data from other devices), data output, and data recording. Output may be further transferred to a computer, processor, phone, tablet computer, or other hardware for review by a user or technical, research, medical, or other oversight personnel. The holding case can also send data to the appliance including firmware or other onboard operating instructions. The holding case can include additional features such as custom dentition of the user, UV light, or a visual user interface.
Wireless metric calculating and feedback apparatus, system, and method
A wearable computing device that is secured or attached to a resilient strap, the resilient strap sized to fit around at least a part of a circumference of a human head. The device has a waterproof storage volume housing a plurality of sensors. The wearable computing device may calculate a plurality of swimming metrics based at least partly on data received from the at least one sensor. The wearable computing device may include a wireless communication subsystem secured to the resilient strap within the waterproof storage volume and may transmit at least one of the calculated plurality of swimming metrics to at least one computing device via the wireless communication subsystem. The wearable computing device may include at least one user output component and may present an indication of at least one of the calculated plurality of swimming metrics at the at least one user output component for communication to the user. The indication may be audio played in an ear piece connected to the strap, or may be visually displayed on a display in an eye goggle portion of the strap.
PHYSICAL FITNESS TRAINING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
In vivo lactate concentrations may be monitored to determine a rate of lactate clearance as one metric of an individual's physical fitness. The rate of lactate clearance may guide further training. Lactate may be monitored using a sensing system comprising a lactate-responsive sensor, and a signal from the sensor may be communicated to a processor for calculating the lactate concentrations and a rate of lactate clearance. Some methods for determining physical fitness may comprise: measuring a plurality of lactate concentrations in a biological fluid with a sensing system comprising a lactate-responsive sensor over a period of time while the lactate concentrations are decreasing following a peak lactate level; and specifying that a second exercise event be conducted after a recovery period in which the lactate level has fallen to a predetermined concentration.
