Provided is an apparatus for managing a player with a guard including a sensor sensing a vital information of a player to calculate an injury risk of the player to thereby manage a condition of the player, the apparatus including: a communication unit receiving the vital information from the guard and transmitting the injury risk to the guard; a memory storing a program calculating the injury risk to manage the condition of the player; and a processor connected to the communication unit and the memory to execute an operation implemented by the program, in which the program may include instructions using the vital information and pre-stored vital recovering ability data of the player to calculate the injury risk of the player.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PLYOMETRIC FORCE APPLICATION TO MUSCLE
20180050237 · 2018-02-22 ·

The invention describes a method and apparatus for plyometric force application to muscle with a plyometric force application element for controlling the amount of plyometric force application. Plyometric force profile and temporal variability, plyometric force intensity, control, and force direction on a 360 plane, can be applied with 360 degrees of vector possibilities of 3-dimentional space, and control of other plyometric force factors for muscle activation of muscle or a group of muscles.

Exercise apparatus with a user controlled, gravity operated shifting mechanism
09662529 · 2017-05-30 ·

An exercise apparatus is provided where a user selectively changes the amount of effort required to operate the machine on demand without interrupting the workout. A manual shifting process allows the user to selectively change the amount of resistance with the gravity included positioning of a resistance weight on a lever arm.

BREATH TRAINING APPARATUS
20250073529 · 2025-03-06 ·

Described herein is a breath training apparatus [100], comprising a breathing unit [102], a CO.sub.2 modulation unit [106, 108], and a control unit [112]. The breathing unit [102] has an enrichment airflow pathway [102c], and is adapted to provide inhalation air with enriched CO.sub.2 concentration. The control unit [112] comprises a CO.sub.2 actuator [112a, 112b], a CO.sub.2 sensor [112d], and a controller [112g]. The controller: receives the signals corresponding to CO.sub.2 concentration within the enrichment airflow pathway [102c] from the CO.sub.2 sensor [112d], compares the CO.sub.2 concentration with a defined CO.sub.2 concentration; and correspondingly controls the CO.sub.2 actuator [112a, 112b] for controlled manipulation of the CO.sub.2 modulation unit [106, 108], such that the controlled manipulation of the at least one CO.sub.2 modulation unit [106, 108] adjust the CO.sub.2 concentration within the enrichment airflow pathway [102c] at least substantially equivalent to the defined CO.sub.2 concentration.

A method of controlling an environmentally controlled chamber includes providing a chamber with at least one infrared heater, a screen configured to stream content, the screen positioned behind an insulating barrier comprising a substantially optically transparent portion, a camera configured to record a user and speakers within the chamber. The method includes sending the user's physiological and/or psychological data and environmental conditions within the chamber to a location remote from the chamber for monitoring, and changing environmental conditions within the chamber based upon the received physiological and/or psychological data or sensed environmental conditions from the location remote from the chamber.

Comparative exercise session equivalence for unweighted exercise, MicroGravity systems and related devices and methods

A method is provided of evaluating comparative equivalence for a user of a MicroGravity system between an unsupported exercise session and an unweighted MicroGravity exercise session. The method includes receiving, for a comparative group of the unweighted and unsupported sessions, an unweighting for each and a 1.sup.st exercise parameter for a base selection of the group having a first run speed and a first incline. The method includes evaluating a session output for the comparative group based on the first run speed and incline and an unweighting of the base selection, which includes determining, for a comparison selection of the comparative group and the session output, based on an unweighting of the comparison selection, a 2.sup.nd exercise parameter having a second run speed and a second incline. The method further includes providing to the user session output and comparative information including the second speed and the second incline.
