TRAINING DEVICE FOR ACCURATE SHOOTOUTS
Device for training or for playing shootouts (1), designed to be fixed between two posts, including a flexible band (2) that is elastic and has two opposite free ends (20, 21), first removable fixation means (3) that are secured to a first end (20) of the band, and second removable fixation means (4) that are secured to the second end (21) of the band, wherein said first and second removable fixation means are able to guarantee an removable fixation of the device directly to the two respective posts, the first removable fixation means (3) being able to create a strapping around the posts with the band (2) in the shape of a knot (50).
SPORTS TRAINING BALL AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A SPORTS TRAINING BALL
A lacrosse training ball that is made up of a shell that defines an enclosure having an interior volume is disclosed. The shell includes a plurality of pads connected along a plurality of seams sewn with a thread having a finishing knot. The interior volume is substantially occupied by a filler that includes a mixture of a first material and a second material.
Concept for transmitting and/or receiving data packets for a system for detecting an event, corresponding to an object crossing over a monitored line
Embodiments relate to a transmitter and/or a receiver for a system for detecting an event which is triggered by an object crossing a monitored line. The transmitter is configured to successively transmit data packets independently of an occurrence of the event. The receiver is configured to receive successive data packets independently of the occurrence of the event. Each data packet comprises information on a number of events which occurred up to a transmission time of the data packet, wherein the transmission times of successive data packets are each located in a predetermined transmission time period.
Antenna system and method for determining a transit of a movable object through a detection plane
Embodiments relate to a concept for determining a transit of a movable object through a detection area within a detection plane. At least one exciter antenna provides an exciting electromagnetic field. The exciting electromagnetic field or at least one spatial component thereof has a field strength above a field strength threshold in the detection area. The exciting electromagnetic field is capable of exciting the movable object to emit an electromagnetic response signal comprising information on a position of the movable object. At least one sensor antenna comprising a magnetic core receives the electromagnetic response signal. The at least one magnetic core is positioned in a region of the exciting electromagnetic field where the field strength of the exciting electromagnetic field or the at least one spatial component thereof is below the field strength threshold.
Exercise training system
An exercise training system is provided having a system controller and a plurality of stimulant target units connected via a wireless network to the system controller. Each stimulant target unit has a light source providing light to stimulate a user, a proximity sensor providing an output of a distance between the proximity sensor and an object external to the unit, and means for providing feedback to the user to signal that the unit has been actuated by the user. The system controller includes a program for activating the stimulant target units in a sequence. The reaction by the user to the illumination is registered when the user brings a body part or other object to within a selected distance of the proximity sensor, this distance being programmable by the user.
Panel of ball for ball game and ball including the same
The present disclosure relates to a panel for ball game ball and a ball game ball including the same, and more particularly, to a panel for ball game ball and a ball game ball including the same capable of facilitating the coupling between adjacent panels and improving an adhesive strength between the panels when attaching a plurality of panels forming a surface of the ball game ball.
Virtual reality sports training systems and methods
Virtual and augmented reality sports training environments are disclosed. A user interacts with virtual players in a simulated environment of a virtual reality sporting event. In some embodiments, the user's actions and decisions are monitored by the simulated environment. The environment evaluates the user's performance, and provides performance feedback based on the user's decisions and timing. In one application, real life pitchers and their pitching data are tracked and replicated in a simulated pitching environment. A team of users may practice against a simulation of a pitcher they are about to compete against, swinging at pitches that they would see in a real game. Such environments may maximize effective practice time for users, and help develop better players with improved decision-making skills. Some embodiments include various pitch recognition training, which may be against replicated real-life pitchers.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
The information processing apparatus generates three-dimensional shape data representing a three-dimensional shape of a first object by using a plurality of images obtained by a plurality of imaging apparatuses capturing the first object. The information processing apparatus estimates a size of the first object by using the three-dimensional shape data. The information processing apparatus specifies a position of a second object that is captured by the plurality of imaging apparatuses based on results of a comparison between the estimated size of the first object and a predetermined reference value.
Such environments may maximize effective practice time for users, and help develop better players with improved decision-making skills. Some embodiments include various pitch recognition training, which may be against replicated real-life pitchers.
PORTABLE SPORTS RACK AND DELIVERY SYSTEM
A portable sports rack and delivery system including an elongate rack enclosure, and a method of use thereof are provided. The elongate rack enclosure defines a storage space for accommodating balls stacked one above the other. A delivery opening, disposed at a first end of the elongate rack enclosure, receives, accommodates, and delivers an uppermost ball from the storage space. A base member, attached to a second end of the elongate rack enclosure, supports the stacked balls within the storage space. A release component including a compression spring, disposed on an upper surface of the base member, elastically compresses and expands to elevate and release the uppermost ball from the storage space for delivery through the delivery opening. A training component, operably and adjustably coupled to a rear section of the elongate rack enclosure, extends above the first end of the elongate rack enclosure to assist in training a sportsperson.
