Method for placing crossbar using crossbar end indicia
A method for consistently placing a crossbar on a pin on a standard used in a vertical distance field event such as high jump and pole vault. The crossbar has a crossbar end with a directional index on at least one surface. In another example embodiment, the crossbar end has a plurality of ordinal indicia alone or with the directional index. A worker notes the placement of the directional index and the ordinal indicia when placing the crossbar a first time. The worker subsequently places the crossbar making sure the directional index and ordinal indicia appear in the same position relative to the standards and relative to the pin on the standard.
AGILITY TRAINING LADDER
An agility training ladder may include a plurality of frame bodies, and each of the frame bodies has a first board and a second board. Each of the first board and the second board has two connecting members respectively at two ends thereof. Each of the first boards comprises two first connecting ribs at two lateral surfaces thereof while each of the second boards has two second connecting ribs at two lateral surfaces thereof. Each of the connecting members comprises two third connecting ribs at two lateral surfaces thereof and two first connecting recesses at two ends thereof, and the first connecting recesses are communicated with the lateral surfaces of the connecting members. The first boards and the second boards are connected through the connecting members, and the first connecting recess is adapted to slide along to the first, second or third connecting rib.
BREAKAWAY ATHLETIC TRACK HURDLE AND TRAINING DEVICE
A training device includes a first leg, a second leg, and a top board connectable to the first leg and the second leg. The top board has a first position transverse to a path of travel between the first leg and the second leg providing a releaseable obstruction along the path of travel. The top board further includes a breakaway joint operable to release at least a portion of the top board to a second position on an impact to the top board thereby providing an open passageway through the top board along the path of travel.
Sport training structure
A sport training structure includes a plurality of brackets and a plurality of first pivot members connected with the brackets. Each of the first pivot members has two connecting portions. Two of the first pivot members are mounted between two of the brackets to construct a polygonal frame, with each of the two connecting portions of each of the first pivot members being pivotally connected with one of the two pivot ends of each of the brackets. In such a manner, the two of the brackets are pivoted about the two of the first pivot members, so that the polygonal frame is foldable.
SPEED AND AGILITY TRAINING SET
The present invention provides for equipment, systems, and methods of using a multipurpose agility training set comprising of a plurality of agility posts, cords, cones and markers, which may be used individually or in combination. When the posts are in an upright position they are a visual indicator. A flexible cord can be used to removably attach the posts. The conical shaped cones define a plurality of cone apertures which are capable of accepting a crossbar to create a hurdle. And the marker is a substantially flat panel having an aperture with a diameter wide enough to receive a hand.
Process and system for measuring or predicting a hurdle race time
The process enables a time of an athlete in a hurdle race to be measured or predicted with a personalized transponder module positioned on the athlete and a base station. The transponder module comprises a receiver unit, a processing unit, a transmitter unit for data signals and a motion sensor to supply measurement signals to the processing unit. The module is activated by a wake-up signal and a measurement of the movement is conducted by the sensor after the start of the race on passage of each hurdle. The data signals are transmitted to the base station and determination of a passage time over each hurdle is conducted.

Hurdle
A hurdle has a supporting frame and two crossing rods. The two crossing rod each respectively employing a connecting joint, a spring, an engaging member, and a locking screw engageable with two opposing standing bars. The supporting frame includes the two standing bars and a horizontal aperture. The crossing rod has a hollow rod body, a soft protector jacketed onto the rod body, and a secure aperture disposed through an end of crossing rod. The connecting joint includes a hollow tubal structure with an axial hole, a connecting section with a smaller diameter is disposed at an end, a combining aperture disposed on the connecting section. An end of the spring is a hook end and another end is a screw stem having a threaded section and an inner threaded aperture, and the hook end of the spring is placed into the connecting joint through the axial hole.
