CORE EXERCISE MACHINE
20170304676 · 2017-10-26 ·

An exercise machine for working core muscles includes a base, a handle bar connected to the base, and a leg support assembly connected to the base and extending substantially horizontally in a direction away from the handle bar. When one of the handle bar and leg support assembly is swung in a clockwise direction, the other of the handle bar and leg support assembly is swung in a counterclockwise direction, and when the one of handle bar and leg support assembly is swung in a counterclockwise direction, the other of the handle bar and leg support assembly is swung in a clockwise direction. The opposite direction rotations of the handle bar and leg support assembly create a double twist motion in the core muscles of a user of the machine.

EXERCISE APPARATUS

An exercise apparatus and method for lower back, abdominal, and leg conditioning. The apparatus is configurable between a pivoting condition and a fixed position. In the pivoting condition, a backboard, pivotally mounted to a frame, is configured for a user to lay on the backboard and alternately raise and lower their hips, while supporting their feet on a foot plate. In a fixed condition, the backboard is positioned proximal to the foot plate, and a user may perform one or more abdominal exercises.

An exercise device for strengthening muscles is disclosed, having a continuous belt system that allows a user to move the continuous belt using their feet to exercise muscles of the person while the person lies in front of the continuous belt with their back braced on a resting surface. Such an exercise device allows a user to exercise their gluteus and hamstring muscles while strengthening their pelvic stabilizers. The exercise device could also have a weight device that allows a user to rest a weight on their torso during the exercise to increase the difficulty and effectiveness of the exercise.

An exercise apparatus or machine according to the present disclosure is adapted to support a user above a floor while the user performs hip thrust or other exercises. The exercise machine includes a head support and a foot support for supporting the torso and feet of a user so that the hips of the user are suspended in an exercise area between the head support and foot support.

Hip Thrust Belt

A belt for use in performing hip raising exercises is provided. The hip thrust belt of the present invention comprises a flexible supporting pad coupled to a flexible belt. Hook-and-loop fasteners are provided on the belt to secure the ends of the belt to dumbbells or other weights including barbell weight plates and kettlebells. The hip thrust belt allows the weights to hang on the outer sides of the user's hip and thereby increases the effort required to perform hip raising exercises. Hip raising exercises are believed to strengthen the gluteal and hamstring muscles.

APPARATUS FOR PHYSICAL EXERCISES

An apparatus for performing abdominal exercises, the apparatus comprising a frame (10) for providing a stable base for operation of the apparatus, a seat (14) for a user to rest onto, a resistance adjustment means (20) for adjusting level of resistance for operation of the apparatus and a joint mechanism (22) for bearing loads and providing rotational movement, wherein the resistance adjustment means (20) is operable to resist movement of the joint mechanism (22) located at centre point of the frame (10), characterized in that an arm (16) connected to the joint mechanism (22) located at centre point of the frame (10) is rotatable at centre point of the frame (10) by means of the joint mechanism (22) and the seat (14) is linearly connected to the arm (16) and is linearly traversable about the arm (16) and the seat (14) is further rotatably connected to the arm (16).

Hip Thrusting Exercise Machine
20170239518 · 2017-08-24 ·

A hip thrusting exercise machine is an apparatus that allows a user to safety perform a hip thrusting exercise in a controlled manner. The apparatus includes a backrest, an abdominal brace, a feet brace, an elongated frame, and a recoiling mechanism. The feet brace and the back rest allows the apparatus to properly hold the user's body in place while the user is performing the hip thrusting exercise. The abdominal brace is pressed against by the user's pelvic region in order to perform the hip thrusting exercise. The recoiling mechanism provides the user with physical resistance as the user pushes to raise the abdominal brace from a resting position to a vertically higher position. The coiling mechanism also returns the abdominal brace from the vertically higher position to the resting position so that the user can repeat the hip thrusting exercise.

In various exemplary scenarios, some embodiments of the present invention provide a collapsible, user-friendly weighted hip thrust exercise apparatus. Various embodiments of the present invention may consist of a base frame enclosing an exercise space, with an upper body support attached to one end of the frame. The frame may be adjustable in length and/or width in order to accommodate different users. The upper body support may be configured to provide an elevated back rest for the user. In an illustrative example, the upper body support height may be adjustable to accommodate different users. In an exemplary scenario illustrative of various embodiments' usage, a user may sit down in the exercise space enclosed by the frame with the user's upper-back and arms resting on top of the upper body support, placing his or her feet on top of the frame on the other width side. The apparatus may further feature a central resistance band positioned at the user's hip line, coupled to side handles or multiple attachment points, and detent pins to removably lock the apparatus in place for use.

EXERCISE DEVICES AND SYSTEMS

An exercise device includes a pivot adjustably positioned at an intermediate point along the length of an elongate support element. One or more lower body supports are mounted on the elongate support element on a first side of the pivot and one or more upper body supports mounted on the elongate support on a second side of the pivot. The device may be used in push up, sit up, inverted pull up or leg raise modes.
