A muscle strengthening system is provided having a functional core endurance training device and a pair of rolling blocks for supporting the functional core endurance training device. Each rolling block in the pair of rolling blocks includes an elongated opening for receiving a wheel of the functional core endurance training device. Additionally, each rolling block in the pair of rolling blocks includes a pair of rollers, a stabilizer and a bumper guard for grounding the surface of the wheels of the functional core endurance training device allowing the wheels to spin with increased intensity. Optionally, an individual may utilize a stationary foot pedestal or a wheeled foot pedestal that provides for both the strengthening of the muscles of the individual while simultaneously stimulating an endurance building effect on the muscular and fascial systems of the body, all of which is achieved with minimal to no impact/pounding on the joints.

BICYCLING EXERCISE APPARATUS

An apparatus enabling a user to perform a simulated bicycling exercise includes a frame, two mounting points defining an axis, the two mounting points comprising an upper rear mounting point comprising an upper rear rotating joint and a lower front mounting point comprising a pivoting connection arrangement proximate to and interacting with the frame, the pivoting connection arrangement comprising at least one resistive element configured to provide resistive force returning the frame to a neutral centered orientation from an off-centered orientation and pedals associated with a wheel and the frame, the pedals enabling the user, when facing forward, to apply force to the pedals and rotate the wheel. The frame is configured to receive forces from the user and dissipate the forces into frame leaning forces such that the user has an ability to cause the frame to pivot about the two mounting points by leaning to one side.

Kinesitherapy apparatus and anaerobic threshold identifying method

A kinesitherapy apparatus includes a measuring instrument, a pedaled rotational mechanism, a rotating electrical machine configured to apply an assist load, which is a regenerative load or a power running load, to the pedaled rotational mechanism, and a motion control device. The motion control device performs power running operation of the rotating electrical machine so that a minus assist load is generated in a warm-up period. In a ramp loading period following the warm-up period, the motion control device raises the assist load from the minus assist load, and calculates an anaerobic threshold based on time-series data of oxygen uptake and carbon dioxide emission that are obtained via the measuring instrument.
