Golf entertainment venues with a computing system configured to optically identify and track graphical images located on golf balls hit by players. The graphical image located on a golf ball can be associated with a player and the computing system can assign the player a score when that player's golf ball successfully arrives at a target area. In some embodiments, the graphical images can be printed on the golf balls using, for example, a single pass inkjet printing technique. In some embodiments, the computing system can be configured to sort golf balls based on optically identified graphical images.

A system for delivering balls to each of two players playing on opposite sides of a field includes a remote control unit worn or placed on each of the two players, each remote control unit configured, upon activation of a particular player, to transmit a wireless signal that identifies a location of the particular player. A ball pitching machine includes a housing configured to receive and hold the balls, at least one wheel, a ball shooting mechanism that receives the balls and shoots one of the balls at a time; and a controller that includes a position-locator, the controller configured to receive and process the signal, direct positioning of the ball shooting mechanism so as to face the player that sent the signal and shoot one of the balls in a direction of the player's position, in accordance with the signal received from the remote control unit.

A cylindrical tubular or rectangular shaped box, designed specifically to allow for the retrieval of a golf ball from golf course fairways, grassy fringe areas, and other non-water areas around a golf course. More specifically, a device designed for the retrieval of golf balls while one using the device remains seated on a golf cart.

A ball rake and method of manufacture are disclosed herein. The ball rake is a hand-held device for collecting objects such as baseballs and softballs (ball rake) to provide an effective and time-saving device for ball collection both on a field and in a batting cage. The ball rake addresses the need for a ball collection tool that is particularly suitable for baseballs, softballs, and the like. The ball rake includes a handle and a rake head. The rake head may have a solid horizontal blade or a set of blades. The rake head is high enough to prevent balls from escaping over a top edge of the rake or through any spaces or openings between the blade(s). The arms of the rake head are angled towards the front of the blade to prevent the collected balls from escaping from the left or right side of the rake head.

Whereas, the problem which exist today in the field of the invention is within the golf driving range facility, the main problem is that golf balls that are picked from a golf driving range go through a rigorous and unsafe process, which is timely and inefficient to perform. The Onboard Golf Ball Washer, will reduce the 5 steps in picking and washing soiled golf balls collected from a Golf Driving Range to 1 single step.
