FOOTWEAR OR ORTHOTIC SOLE WITH MICROPROCESSOR CONTROL OF A STRUCTURAL OR SUPPORT ELEMENT WITH MAGNETORHEOLOGICAL FLUID
Devices with internal flexibility sipes, such as slits, provide improved flexibility, improved cushioning to absorb shock and/or shear forces, and improved stability of support. Siped devices can be used in any existing product that provides or utilizes cushioning and stability. These products include human and other footwear, both soles and uppers, as well as orthotics; athletic, occupational and medical equipment and apparel; padding or cushioning, such as for equipment or tool handles, as well as furniture; balls; tires; and any other structural or support elements in a mechanical, architectural, or any other product.
Golf club and connecting member for golf club shaft and golf club head
To obtain a golf club and a connecting member for a golf club shaft and a golf club head that can provide a flexibility in choice of reshafting to a user regardless of types of the golf club shaft and the golf club head and that can also provide excellent strength and/or appearance. A connecting member connects an inner-hosel-type golf club shaft and an over-hosel-type golf club head. The connecting member includes a hybrid structure combining different kinds of material.
Game Stick and Game Utilizing the Same
A game stick and game are disclosed. The game stick includes a shaft with a head at one end. A channel wide enough for a game ball is defined in the head. The ball is placed in the channel and when the game stick is swung, the ball rides along the channel and is released therefrom to fly through the air. The head may be adjustable to affect the way in which the ball is thrown. The game is similar to golf except that instead of hitting the ball, the ball is thrown toward a target location at the end of a fairway. When the target location is reached, the game stick may be used as a putter to push or putt the ball to sink it into a sunken cup in the ground.

Adjustable golf club shaft
A length adjustable golf club includes a club head attached to a shaft at a lower end. A length adjusting kit includes a shaft insert that attaches to the shaft at an upper end. The shaft insert includes a coupling port that accepts one of an extension block or a grip adapter. To provide length adjustments of the overall club length, one or more extension blocks may attached between the shaft insert and the grip adapter. A grip assembly having a reinforcing sleeve connects to the grip adapter and extends over the shaft and any extension blocks. The grip assembly couples to the shaft through a grip adapter and grip coupling. The grip adapter and grip coupling are axially moveable prior to securement with a retaining fastener. The grip coupling may be rotationally constrained or rotationally adjustable relative to the grip adapter.
