System for determining a position on a golf course
A system is for determining a position on a golf course. The system has a master unit and at least one slave unit. The master unit and the at least one slave unit are adapted to communicate through a telecommunications network. The master unit comprises a receiver for a satellite navigation system, the receiver being operable at a fixed position on the golf course. The master unit is configured to: obtain a position determined by the receiver; process the displacement between the obtained position and the fixed position; and make the processed displacement available to the at least one slave unit through the telecommunications network. A slave unit then makes use of the processed displacement to improve positions determined by itself.
Golf accessory holder
A holder for securing golf accessories therein and attaching to a belt, golf bag, waist band, piece of clothing or other article that is carried while golfing. The holder includes a housing having a base and a sidewall extending from the base toward an open face defining a compartment that can receive a ball divot repair tool. The sidewall forms a perimeter of the housing, wherein the open face extends the perimeter to allow the ball divot repair tool to be quickly and conveniently removed and inserted therefrom. A divot repair tool fastener is disposed on a surface of the housing to secure the ball divot repair tool thereto. In some embodiments, the divot repair tool is included and comprises a ball marker that is interchangeable with other ball markers in order to allow for a variety of colors or embodiments to be displayed on the divot repair tool.
GOLF PUTTING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
An elongated putting strap contained in a rolled configuration within a housing. When used, the elongated strap is unrolled and laid out on a putting green. The putting strap may include short, medium and long putting zones and corresponding short, medium and long target zones. The putting zones may include hash marks designating distances to corresponding target zones. Use of the putting strap provides golfers with an opportunity to putt from various distances in an attempt to bring the golf ball to rest in the proper target zone corresponding to the putting zone from where the golf ball was struck. The target zones may be nested within one another.
GOLF FLAG POLE
A golf flag (1) comprising a pole (2) comprising a first upper region with a first extremity to which a flag is attached and wherein a second lower extremity of the pole (2), consisting of a transparent part or section (3) will coincide with the zone of the pole (2) closest to a hole (4) of the Green in its position for use. Thanks to the invention, it is possible to reduce the “slow play effect” in golf by making it unnecessary to remove the flag when executing the putt.
NOVEL GOLF FLAGSTICK INCORPORATING A MECHANIZED SYSTEM FOR EJECTION OF GOLF BALL FROM THE GOLF HOLE
The present invention comprises a novel golf flagstick which complies with the official rules of golf and consists of a flagstick with a ball ejection cylinder located four feet above ground level. The ball ejection cylinder is lifted by hand or with the shaft or grip of a golf club to eject the golf ball from the golf hole without the need to reach into the hole and without any damage to the sensitive grass turf surrounding the golf hole. In preferred embodiments, the ball ejection cylinder is color coded to provide golfers with an indication of the position of the golf hole on the golf green (red: front, white: middle, blue: rear) and incorporates a reflective strip for easy targeting of the flagstick by commercial laser distance measuring devices. In preferred embodiments, the ball ejection cylinder easily snaps on and off of the flagstick allowing for easy changing of the cylinder color with the daily repositioning of the golf hole on the golf green.
Assembly jig for stacked and shrink wrapped golf balls
An assembly jig comprises a platform, first and second parallel posts projecting from the platform, and a pillar projecting from the platform in a position equidistant from each of the posts and forward of an imaginary line between the posts such that the posts and the pillar are in a triangular arrangement. The pillar is shorter than the posts.
Distance detector
A distance detector comprising: a laser transmitter and receiver for generating a laser beam to irradiate an object and to receive return light reflected in response from the object, an image detection system for generating an image of a view, the image detection system including an objective lens for collecting light from the view, an image sensor for receiving light collected by the objective lens and for generating the image therefrom, and a digital display for displaying the image such that the digital display displays a real-time image of the view, a laser beam indicium on the digital display or a laser beam indicium generator configured to display laser beam indicium on the digital display, wherein the laser beam indicium indicates a direction of the laser beam, and a range-finding system for determining the distance to an object irradiated by the laser beam using return light and for displaying distance.

Golf game umbrella apparatus
An apparatus comprises a shaft; an openable and closable canopy; and a plurality of upwardly extending holding chambers on an underside of the canopy. The apparatus is thought to be particularly useful as a golf chipping game, with golf balls being chipped into the holding chambers as target practice.
Bottle Opener With Customizable Tool
A bottle opener having the shape of a human hand provides a handle and cap gripping component which is configured for removing a conventional bottle cap in a compressed fit upon a bottle. The configuration provides cap removal in a direction toward the user with less effort. The cap gripping component can be configured to removably engage the handle where a tool such as a golf divot tool can be stored within an interior of the handle.
