LAUNCH AND CATCH APPARATUS, KITS, AND METHODS
Launch and catch apparatus, kits including the same, and methods of using the same to launch and catch balls and other projectiles. The apparatus include a frame and a tubular body operatively coupled to the frame. The frame includes a handle and defines an inlet opening sized to receive a projectile. The tubular body includes an inlet region operatively coupled to the frame to receive the projectile when the projectile passes through the inlet opening. The tubular body further includes an outlet region configured to receive and retain the projectile after the projectile passes through the inlet opening. The apparatus is configured to launch the projectile out of an outlet opening of the outlet region. The outlet opening may have an adjustable nominal size and may be configured to resiliently expand when a projectile is launched out of the outlet opening.
Magnus effect cylindrical projectile and launcher
The present invention is a toy launcher system. A lightweight projectile has an exterior surface symmetrically disposed about an imaginary longitudinal axis and is generally spool-shaped. The launcher is composed of a shaft to which a flexible curled band is attached. The flexible curled band holds the projectile within its curvature. When the launcher is rotated by a user using a general throwing motion the band uncurls, thereby launching the projectile into flight.

PROJECTILE LAUNCHING DEVICE
A sports and games apparatus consisting of two rods and an aerodynamic projectile with an opening which receives the two rods. The projectile is launched by manipulating the rods in an opposing fashion. The opening of the projectile is of the appropriate size to allow for the rods to slide through, but not large enough that the projectile exhibits unwanted motions that inhibit accuracy during the launching motion. The rods are used to propel the projectile towards a variety of targets which interact with the projectile in various ways. The projectile may comprise a multitude of aerodynamic shapes and a multitude of methods for interacting with targets.

DISC LAUNCHING DEVICE
A disc launching device includes a long handle and a disc holder at one end of the handle. The handle may include a grip end for holding the handle, an attachment end opposite the grip end, and a shaft extending from the grip end to the attachment end. The disc holder is attached to the attachment end of the handle. It includes a front rail for holding one side of a disc, a back rail for holding an opposite side of the disc, and at least one support member extending between the front rail and the back rail. The front rail and the back rail form an opening on one side of the disc holder, configured to allow the disc to launch out of the disc holder through the opening when sufficient forward momentum is applied to the disc holder via the handle.

Old Country Apple Launcher
The Old Country Apple Launcher is a toy designed to bring games to urban area kids and more. The shaft will be held and then propelled forward which launches the connected apple at the point system target.
String launched flexible rolling wheel
The string launched flexible rolling wheel or Sling Wheel is used for recreational play. The Sling Wheel is a flexible, 5 to 10-inch diameter disc/wheel that has a deep slot in which to wind a length of string with a knot or a device with which to grip or otherwise attach to the finger(s) or hand. The end of the string without the knot or handle is wound in the slot a number of turns. After the string is wound, the Sling Wheel is tossed in an underhand or overhand motion while keeping the string knot firmly grasped. The Sling Wheel spins away from the participant with a forward spin that gives it directional control and significant velocity. The string remains with the person launching the toy.
