A goal shooting target can be used to develop skills in many sports. The goal shooting target can include a panel that deflects objects when the panel is placed at a face or opening of a sports goal. The panel and sports goal can define target openings through which objects are capable of passing. The panel can be configured to carry a frame of the sports goal such that posts of the sports goal are held off of a support surface upon which the goal shooting target rests.

A ground traversing, electrically driven drone travels along a programmed path that corresponds to pass catcher's travel path during a play, matching the pass catcher's speed and run cuts. The play is wirelessly communicated to the drone by a handheld electronic device located remote of the drone. A target is located on the drone so that a quarterback can throw a football at the target in order to refine the quarterback's timing and accuracy for the play. Sensors located remote of the drone track both the football's and quarterback's speed and travel trajectories so that such data can be collected, along with the drone's travel path, and transmitted to the computer and eventually fed into 3-D reconstruction software for analysis by the quarterback and coaching staff. The target rotates so that the target either faces in a fixed direction or constantly faces the quarterback during execution of drone's maneuvers.

System and method for launching a ball onto the ground of a playing field. The system includes an outlet chamber configured to receive the ball therein; an outlet conduit or frame configured to contain the outlet chamber and allow the same to move through the outlet conduit towards a second position on the ground; movement capability of the outlet chamber, connected to and configured to move the outlet chamber between at least the first position and the second position, where the outlet chamber includes an outlet mouth and launching means for launching the ball arranged in the outlet chamber. A method of monitoring at least one person in an event, comprises providing at least one sensor associated with the person, measuring data using the at least one sensor, wherein the measured data includes data representative of a motion of at least one part of the person's body, the method further comprising, by a processing unit based at least on said data, determining at least one insight, wherein said insight is characteristic of at least one of (a) an action performed by the person in the event and (b) an event situation, thereby facilitating characterization of at least one of the person and the event.

A hands-free utility belt system is disclosed. The utility belt system includes a flexible belt, a removable bumper locking mechanism, a bumper, and a lead carrier. The flexible belt includes a plurality of apertures and has a first section and a second section, wherein the first section is configured to overlap the second section. The removable bumper locking mechanism is configured to lock together the first section and the second section of the belt. The removable bumper locking mechanism includes a lock and a mounting plate. The lock is configured to couple the removable locking system to the flexible belt through one of the plurality of apertures. The bumper is coupled to the mounting plate. The lead carrier is coupled to the belt and includes a body having an opening on one side and at least one micro-roller, and a lead connector coupled to the body by a post.

An apparatus includes a training area in the form of an enclosed space in which light levels can be controlled, at least one physical element related to a task for which an individual is to be trained, and a lighting arrangement. The lighting arrangement generates a background luminance level in the training area sufficient to cause the vision system of the individual to function in the mesopic or low photopic range of vision, and the physical elements are themselves illuminated by an illumination means. The luminance level of the physical elements is greater than the background luminance level.

A sport training apparatus, such as for hockey or soccer (e.g. football) having an elongated base member and one or more stick members coupled to the elongated base member. One or more support members extend from under the elongated base member to rest on a training surface. A projectile, such as a puck, may pass under the elongated base member. The stick members may have an angle from about 0-degrees to about 180-degrees with respect to the elongated base member.

A computer-implemented American soccer training and evaluation method that includes subjecting a drilling user to predefined drilling protocol(s) of a plurality of American soccer drilling assemblies and obtain, from each pre-defined drilling protocol(s) of the plurality of American soccer drilling assemblies and from at least one sensor on each of the assemblies, at least one user physical characteristic of the drilling user. The user physical characteristic is communicated to an administrative server over a network, where it is stored and used to create a drilling user performance profile having individualized performance comparisons with respect to the at least one user physical characteristic of the drilling user and a performance benchmark. Then, the drilling user performance profile is communicated to at least one of a plurality of electronic computing devices of a plurality of consuming users for evaluation and review.
