A variable hardness punching bag is disclosed herein. The punching bag comprises a core having a first hardness profile; and at least one auxiliary shell attachable to the core, wherein the at least one auxiliary shell has a second hardness profile different to the first hardness profile. The auxiliary shells include a punching shell and a kicking shell, wherein the punching shell is denser and harder relative to the kicking shell. The punching and kicking shells include attachment straps for facilitating attachment to the core.
Punching/boxing/martial arts bag system
A system for supporting a punching bag includes a bag portion mounted on a ring by straps. The ring is spaced away from the bag portion by the straps. The ring is in turn mounted by springs or chain to a plate and bearing assembly including a plate. The ring is the same circumference as the bag portion. As such, the straps are vertical. This prevents deformation of the bag.
Sparring arms heavy bag boxing apparatus
The sparring arms heavy bag boxing apparatus is a pair of simulated sparring opponent arms as a jab arm and a power arm of different lengths adjustably attached to a heavy bag with a stabilizing weight attached to the bottom of the heavy bag to stabilize the motion of the heavy bag for sparring practice even with out a training partner. The jab and power arms may optionally be weighed. Use of the sparring arms heavy bag boxing apparatus promotes a boxer's capacity to find distance and range with accuracy and precision.
Well Built Trailer
A mobile-exercise trailer includes a platform having at least one exercise equipment arranged thereon. Two sidewalls each have a first end joined to the platform, and at least one of the two sidewalls has a window. A first door is arranged to cover the window in at least one sidewall. A roof is attached to a second end of each of the two sidewalls, and a first power rack is retractably extendable from one of the two side walls. Attachment strips may be arranged on one of the two sidewalls. At least one of dip bars, wall ball targets, a punching bag, and a virtual weight pulley machine can be connected to the attachment strips. Video monitors are arranged on at least one of the two sidewalls. Two wheels are axially arranged below a portion of the two sidewalls, and a manual and/or remote controlled trailer dolly extends from a front of the mobile-exercise trailer.
Energy Absorbing Punching Bag Mounting Apparatus
A punching bag mount which reduces trauma on the structure which the mount is attached to. A punching bag is attached to a connector on the mount which is typically repeatedly punched. The mount utilizes springs and flexible strips arranged in a radial pattern in order to absorb the energy of the blows, thereby reducing the amount of energy transferred to the structure. The mount would typically mount into floor beams of the floor above the room in which the mount and punching bag is installed.
Training apparatus including a mannequin
A training apparatus 2 including a mannequin 4, for being struck by a person training for fighting, the apparatus comprising a support structure 6 for supporting the mannequin, the mannequin including a head 16, a torso, two arms 76 (having upper and lower arms) and two legs 10, and having joints at the shoulders 50, hips 56, knees 54 and elbows 52, wherein the joints at the shoulders are configured to variably adjust and fix the position of the upper arms relative to the torso in at least two orthogonal planes, and the joints at the elbows are configured to variably adjust and fix the position of the lower arms relative to the upper arms in at least one plane, the apparatus including ankle attachment means for removably attaching the ankles to the support structure.
Multi-headed, multi-abdomen, multi-armed apparatus for use with a slip and counter fight simulation/workout machine or stand alone device for fight simulation
A fight simulation multi-headed, multi-abdomen, multi-armed apparatus is adapted to be used in conjunction with a slip and counter fight simulation apparatus or stand alone apparatus. The fight simulation multi-headed, multi-abdomen, multi-armed apparatus includes a multi-headed member having at least one head attached to at least one abdomen and at least one arm having a glove appending member. Preferably, multiple heads are attached to multiple abdomens with multiple arm pairs to provide different punch configurations for the user to strike at. The multi-headed, multi-abdomen, multi-armed provides various angles adapted for a user to punch, knee, and/or do a flying knee.
Heavy bag workout monitor systems
A heavy bag workout monitor system for receiving and analyzing quantity, location, and magnitude of physical contact and transmitting the information to a user interface, comprising a plurality of impact detection sensors, an impact detector sensor support, and a workout processor for transmitting workout information during a timed period. The heavy bag of the present invention may comprise a first embodiment where the heavy bag measures approximately 5 feet and is ideal for boxers. The boxing bag of this embodiment may comprise a first and second target zone representing an adversary's head and body respectively. A second embodiment may comprise a heavy bag measuring approximately 7 feet comprising a first, second, and third target zone representing an opponent's head, midsection, and legs respectively. The heavy bag workout monitor system may be used to record, track, and monitor workout activity over a period of time and is compatible with a multitude of mobile devices comprising LCD technology.
Ceiling mounted striking bag with flexible foam tube and optional tether system
A striking bag features a resiliently flexible foam tube, and a striking surface that is connected to an end of the flexible tube to hang therefrom in an exposed position strikeable from below. A threaded rod projects from an upper end of the flexible tube for coupling with a surface mount that is fastened to a ceiling or other suitable overhead surface. The surface mount features a rigid portion into which the threaded rod is threaded. The foam of the tube and the threaded rod solely define a resiliency by which the tube flexes and returns to a normal straight position relative to the ceiling mount. A fabric loop at a bottom of the striking surface allows selective connection of a stretchable tether between the striking surface and a ground based tether point to change a responsive character of the striking bag and enable two distinctive modes of use.
Combat Training Device
A combat training device is disclosed that may include an elongated support having a shoulder rest at a rearward end and a punching target at a forward end. The punching target may be attached to a neck support adapted for removable engagement with the forward end of the elongated support. The device may further include a punching assembly having a reciprocating support with a handle at its rearward end and a punching member at its forward end. The reciprocating support may be disposed for longitudinal movement in generally parallel relationship to the elongated support. The reciprocating support may be rotatably disposed within a longitudinal bore that is disposed in generally parallel relationship to the elongated support and reciprocating support. The shoulder rest may be releasably engageable with the rearward end of the elongated support and moveable between adjustable locked positions, such as through the use of a detent mechanism. A punching target holder may be provided for attachment to a punching bag for use in removably attaching a neck support and attached punching target to the punching bag.
