Cable tension overload fuse assembly
A fuse link that having a body including a rigid member, a first end, and a second end opposite the first end. A reduced material portion of the body is positioned between the first and second ends, the reduced material portion is configured to fail in response to a predetermined load.
ROPE WINDING DEVICE, ROPE TENSIONING DEVICE AND BALL NET FRAME
A rope winding device includes a rope winding seat, a rope reel shaft, a ratchet and a handle. Opposite ends of the rope reel shaft pass through the rope winding seat and are rotatably connected with the rope winding seat. One end of the rope reel shaft is provided with a gear, the ratchet is rotatably mounted on the rope winding seat and meshed with the gear, and the other end of the rope reel shaft is connected with the handle. A rope tensioning device including the rope winding device is provided. A ball net frame including a net and the rope tensioning device is provided. The rope winding device, the rope tensioning device and the ball net frame are detachably assembled, which is convenient for carrying and storing and can realize rapid tensioning of the tension rope.
Sports equipment comprising a guy line and a measuring apparatus fastened to the guy line
An item of sports equipment includes a guy line to which is applied a mechanical tension and which ensures the stability or the rigidity of the item of sports equipment. The sports equipment includes a measuring apparatus which is fastened to the guy line such that the guy line tension is applied to it, the measuring apparatus including a sensor adapted to deliver an electrical signal corresponding to representational information on the guy line tension. The measuring apparatus is fastened to the guy line all the time, making it possible to obtain representational information on the guy line tension at any instant.
Golf game umbrella apparatus
An apparatus comprises a shaft; an openable and closable canopy; and a plurality of upwardly extending holding chambers on an underside of the canopy. The apparatus is thought to be particularly useful as a golf chipping game, with golf balls being chipped into the holding chambers as target practice.
TRAINING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A method can include providing an object having a size smaller than a size of a known regulation object, projecting the object, via a delivery device, toward a trainee, and training the trainee to follow the object. A method can include determining a game parameter of a game trajectory of a sports object that was projected along the game trajectory in a real-time sports event, and based on the game parameters, adapting a delivery device to deliver a training object along a training trajectory that mimics at least a portion of the game trajectory, with the training object being smaller than the sports object.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CLIMBING
Systems and methods for providing climbing walls are discussed. While such systems and methods can include any suitable component, in some cases, they include a climbing wall that has a base member and a climbing surface that includes at least one climbing hold. In some cases, the climbing surface is pivotally connected to the base member. Additionally, in some cases, the system includes an anchor that is configured to adjustably retain the climbing surface at an angle with respect to the base member. In some cases, the system further includes a camera, microphone, and/or display that are configured to allow a climber to have audio and/or visual interactions with another person in a remote location (e.g., for training, competition, etc.). In some cases, at least one climbing hold on the climbing surface comprises a sensor that is configured to indicate when a climber has used that hold. Other implementations are described.
Cable tension overload fuse assembly
A cable tension overload fuse assembly is configured to couple together a structural support cable operatively coupled to a structural support, and a net barrier cable supporting barrier netting. The cable tension overload fuse assembly includes a mechanical fuse and a rescue cable coupled to the structural support cable and the net barrier cable. The mechanical fuse is configured to break upon exertion of a predetermined force to allow the net barrier cable to sag to reduce forces transmitted to the structural support and prevent damage to it, while the rescue cable continues to couple together the structural support cable and the net barrier cable to prevent the net barrier and/or net barrier or net barrier cable from falling completely to the ground without the structural support cable and cable tension overload fuse assembly.
Inflatable portable ledge apparatus
An inflatable portable ledge apparatus comprises an inflatable platform having a plurality of transverse baffles and a plurality of longitudinal baffles. There are a plurality of suspension straps connected to the inflatable platform. The suspension straps are connected the inflatable platform so that a load on the inflatable platform is distributed across all the suspension straps when the portable ledge apparatus is anchored at a single point.
SNAP FIT GOLF BAG ASSEMBLY
A sub-assembly for a golf bag includes a divider top having an outer ring and a plurality of apertures, and a leg mounting bracket having a mounting channel and a plurality of retention members extending into the mounting channel. A portion of the outer ring is received in the mounting channel and each of the plurality of apertures receives one of the plurality of retention members to form a snap-fit connection.
