Strength training and exercise platform

An exercise device includes a base defining an inner volume and a top supported by the base, the top defining an aperture. The exercise device further includes a force sensor configured to measure force on the top and a motor disposed within the base and below the top, the motor including a cable extendable through the aperture. The exercise deice further includes a controller communicatively coupled to each of the force sensor and the motor. The controller is adapted to actuate the motor in response to forces applied to the top as measured by the force sensor. The controller may also actuate the motor in response to one or more additional parameters related to the speed or force with which the cable is manipulated (e.g., pulled by a user).

For example, a donut goal object may correspond to an athletic activity goal of burning 350 calories. The user may progress from goal object to goal object. Goal objects may increase in difficulty (e.g., amount of athletic activity required) and might only be available for selection upon completing an immediately previous goal object, a number of goal objects, an amount of athletic activity and the like.

Systems and methods for management and scheduling of differential air pressure (DAP) and other unweighted or assisted treatment systems are provided. The methods and systems can include generation of a suggested workout based on matching user data to data of other users sharing similar characteristics using an aggregate database of user information and related workout information. The methods and systems can include matching a user to an available and/or appropriate DAP system. Also provided are methods and systems including performing a workout and uploading performance information to an aggregate database of user information.

NOVEL SYSTEM AND METHOD ADAPTED TO ENABLE SIMULTANEOUS PLAY OF ONE OR MORE SPORTS GAMES IN THE SAME FACILITY WITH AUTOMATED BALL DELIVERY, TRACKING AND COLLECTION
20170304705 · 2017-10-26 · ·

The present invention comprises a unique system and method for providing adaptable ball delivery and tracking, including appropriate sensor hardware, interactive gameplay user interfaces and point of sales systems. The system and method of the present invention are especially relevant to baseball and softball as, among other components, the system comprises a vertical, ground-up soft toss ball delivery mechanism, automated player and ball-tracking devices, and ball-collection and transport systems. The ball collection and return components eliminate the need for “fielders” and enable the creation of the first “batting range”. The vertical, ground-up soft-toss pitch machine further enables the first multi-story batting facility with player batting bays that open onto a sports field. Further, certain embodiments of the present invention integrate hitting screens, augmented reality display and simultaneous coordination of gameplay and communication between players, regardless of the players' physical location.

In one example, we describe a method and system for invitation to games or sports. For example, when the user uses our system (PlayUs), she or he gets connected to others very easily (e.g., in the city's “Open League”). This way, the player/user is immediately presented with a feed of all recent activities and has immediate access to all active players in the area. The user can also access his/her friends through the social networks, to increase participation very rapidly. One can also make groups and find new friends using our app (mobile application), e.g., with mobile phones or devices. One can also be discovered by others, depending on the level of privacy desired or previously set. Many different variations or combinations are also shown here.
