THREE-DIMENSIONAL GRAPHICS MADE ON GRASS USING A CHLOROPHYLL-BASED AGENT
A system for creating three-dimensional grass graphics can include a means for cutting grass with an adjustable cutting height, a chlorophyll-based agent for coloring grass, and at least one stencil. The chlorophyll-based agent can be non-detrimental to a health of the grass and can be available in multiple shades. The stencil can be securable to the grass and can define a graphic to be painted on the grass using the chlorophyll-based agent. The means for cutting the grass can be able to pass over and around the stencil without damaging the stencil. Application of different shades of the chlorophyll-based agent to varying heights of grass can produce a three-dimensional effect for the graphic when viewed.
BASKETBALL ARCHITECTURE
A basketball system comprising a court system having shot locations defined by shot location lines on the play surface and the shot areas defined by shot area lines on the play surface, and a goal system comprising a respective backboard suspended above the play surface at each opposing farthest end of the play surface, an instrumentation system comprises sensors to detect activities within the boundary line of the court system, and a respective penalty box for each team in which players, coaches, and referees can serve a penalty assessed for an infraction.
Line marking device, a set with a line marking device and a method for depositing material according to a predetermined pattern
It is suggested to provide a line marking device having a GNSS receiver or prism for a robotic total station. The line marking device further has at least one spray nozzle and a comparator adapted to compare a detected location to a predetermined pattern. The comparator calculates a location and/or a direction error. Further the line marking device has a prompting device for providing steering information to a user. The provided information is the location and/or direction error. The at least one spray nozzle and the GNSS receiver or the prism are in a fixed spatial relation to a connecting element, which is connected or connectable to an unmovable receiving element of a cart.
FIELD GAME
Field games comprise a playing field having a defined area at only one end of the playing field, and a remaining area. The defined area is configured to accommodate a player having possession of a ball therein, and may be configured to prevent entry from one or more direction, or may be configured to permit access from all sides. The field game may be played by two teams of players, initially positioned at different locations of the playing field, where one team has the objective of putting one or more of its players in the defined area with possession of one or more balls and thereby scoring, and where the other team has the objective of trying to prevent the opposite team from its objective of scoring. Teams switch objectives after the team in possession scores with its balls and/or loses possession of its balls, and play is quickly resumed.
Device and method for providing a water sports track
Provided is a water track marker (1) for marking a sports track, such as a water ski track, on a water surface (20). The water track marker comprises at least a first marker ejector (11) configured to eject marker projectiles (2) towards the water for creating an instant marking (3) on the water surface (20) upon impact with the water surface (20). Provided is also a method for marking a sports track and a towing boat comprising said water track marker.
FORMS FOR CONSTRUCTING A FOUNDATION FOR BATTER'S AND CATCHER'S BOXES, AND SUPPORTING A HOME PLATE
A form for constructing a foundation for batter’s and catcher’s boxes and supporting a home plate in a support structure of a synthetic turf field for playing baseball or softball includes a hollow frame comprising an open upper surface and an open lower surface, the hollow frame sized to extend under the batter’s and catcher’s boxes, and a home plate frame supportable by the hollow frame, the home plate frame having a cavity for receiving the home plate.
Basketball architecture
A basketball goal system comprising a backboard assembly and suspension frame affixed to the back surface, a suspension structure connected to the suspension frame of the backboard and a goal indication system which interfaces to at least one of the suspension structure or backboard to cause an indication (of various colors) to be presented via the suspension system and/or the backboard which indication relates to the shot points associated with a shot attempted at the goal. The goal indication system causes presentation of a cue on a front surface of the backboard, which cue is of a color corresponding to shot points. The backboard elements and light emission of the suspension frame can be controlled synchronously or asynchronously.
SPORTS FIELD MARKING EQUIPMENT
Sports field marking equipment includes a) a paint applying means adapted for marking a sports field on a surface; b) a position determining device configured for determining the position of the sports field marking equipment; c) a distance sensor configured for detecting a goal and/or corner post and the distance thereto; d) a first processor; and e) a first memory coupled to the first processor. The first memory includes program instructions executable by the first processor for receiving a goal and/or corner post detection signal and the measured distance from the distance sensor to the goal and/or corner post; receiving the position and direction of the sports field marking equipment from the position determining device at the time of receiving the detection signal; computing waypoint coordinates of the goal and/or corner post based on the received data; and storing the computed waypoint coordinates of the goal and/or corner post.
Method of Game Playing of Forehand Strike
A method of game playing known as Forehand Strike™ according to the present invention is a game being played on a court having a pair of service areas on each side of a net using a slow bouncing ball and a hand covering and striking the slow bouncing ball with a forehand shot. The method includes bouncing the slow bouncing ball one time and serving a shot diagonally over the net into an opposite service area of player 2 using a palm of a first user's hand, striking a return shot over the net and into either one of the pair of service areas of the first player, each player continuing to return a subsequent shot across the net and into one of the two service areas of an opposing player after the slow bouncing ball has bounced only once until one of the subsequent shots lands outside both of the service areas of the opposing player, and awarding a point to the player making a last valid shot into one of the service areas of the opposing player. Additionally, each player continues to return a subsequent shot across the net and into one of the two service areas of an opposing player after the slow bouncing ball has bounced only once until one of the subsequent shots lands within one of the service areas of the opposing player and bounces a second time before a next return shot is made and the point is awarded to the player making a last valid shot into one of the service areas of the opposing player.
Spraying device for liquid means of chemical treatment with replaceable liquid subsystem and spraying systems on the basis thereof
The invention is intended for the organization of an automated process for spraying of liquid means of chemical treatment from unmanned vehicles, for example, in precise farming systems. The use of a replaceable, marked and hermetically sealed liquid subsystem in the spray device of the invention, along with an integrated self-diagnosis system, using compressed gas energy and a pressure regulator instead of standard pumps, reduces the weight of the spraying device, improves spraying accuracy, ensures personnel safety and accounting of the accumulated life resource of the main units of spraying devices. All this in combination enables to create fully automated spraying systems.
