Ring for a fighting sport
A ring for a fighting sport has a circular fighting area defined by a plurality of circular fence rings that are held up by posts. Shock absorbers connect the fence rings to the posts. Position markers are provided to indicate the starting positions of the participating fighters at certain points during the bout.
ENERGY ABSORPTION SOFT-SIDED CORNER ASSEMBLY FOR GATE-OPENING SECTIONS AND GATES OF DASHER BOARD ASSEMBLIES
An energy absorption corner assembly for gate-opening sections and gates of dasher board assemblies for a playing zone having a playing zone comprising: an elongate core section comprising a polymer material having a first durometer; a sheet of the polymer material having a second durometer, wherein the second durometer is greater than the first durometer, wherein the sheet of the polymer material covers an entire surface of the elongate core section(s) facing the playing zone.
MULTI-SPORT CENTER WITH COOLING AND HEATING SYSTEM
The present invention relates to a multi-sport center and more specifically, a multi-sport center having sectors used for various sport games and a passage separating the sectors, wherein each sector includes courts formed according to court standards of sports whose courts are inter-compatible to each other, and the adjacent courts are inter-compatible, thereby increasing efficiency of a sport center. The center further comprises more than one cooling and heating booth installed at one side of each sector, thereby helping players in each court to take breaks. In addition, the center further comprises cantilevers that is installed on an inner wall at the second to the fourth floor level and that can look down the first floor, wherein a café, a snack bar, a media room, an electronic game room, a go game room, and jogging track, instead of stands, are installed on the cantilevers.
Sports wall assembly
Rate of deceleration is an important factor in determining the severity of injuries, such as head and neck injuries, possibly sustained when participants collide with a wall assembly while playing, for example, ice hockey. The described wall assemblies each include a support assembly and a movable wall assembly supported by and movable with respect to the support assembly. Telescoping parts of the movable wall assembly enable deflection of the movable wall assembly to complex angles with respect to the support assembly. In addition, movable wall assemblies can be couple such that impact on one wall assembly can cause deflection of an adjacent wall assembly. Covers, shields, and spacers can be positioned to decrease gap formation during deflection of the movable wall assembly to reduce the risk of pinch points.
Apparatus and method for design and installation of a customizable soccer mini-pitch system
There exists a number of youth development programs centered on sports programming. Some of these programs operate on a platform of revitalizing neighborhood spaces to improve community engagement by creating a space for youth to enjoy sports. Oftentimes these neighborhood spaces include restrictions or the surrounding community has needs (like lighting and seating) which are unmet or under-met. Envisioned is a system approach to addressing these needs wherein a wide variety of custom solutions can be produced from prefabricated, modular, and portable components that interface with existing amenities (if any) so to enrich the youth experience and better achieve program objectives. This modular approach provides a common infrastructure for different spaces, different sports, and different levels of play.
System for team ball game having interactive goal barriers
Systems and devices for a team game played on an obround court includes radially symmetric barriers defining cylindrical goals having circular openings concentric with the semicircles of the obround court. An annular halt zone extends around the barriers. A free throw line extends around each halt zone. An obround judge lane extends along the perimeter of the court and is occupied by two judges or referees that monitor the game, while another judge or referee remains inside the perimeter. The court is divided by a centerline which includes a circle at the center of the court. The outer wall of the barrier includes one or more video screens. Audience members can access a computer network to display images, text or video selected by them in real-time during gameplay. The ball used for the game has a surface texture provided by a plurality of square pebbles instead of rounded pebbles.
Support member for elevating a retaining wall panel
A support member for elevating a retaining wall panel includes a base arrangement with a first area and a second area. The base arrangement engages an underlying mounting surface. A height elevating section extends from the base arrangement proximate to the second area to a third area. The height elevating section has a receiving area configured to receive a wall panel. A sloped surface extends between the base arrangement proximate the first area and the height elevating section proximate to the third area. The sloped surface is configured to support a load bearing panel.
FREE-STANDING SPORTS TRAINING WALL
A free-standing sports training wall is provided, the free-standing sports training wall including a frame and a substantially smooth heat-strengthened glass panel attached to the frame. The glass panel forming at least part of a rebound surface of the free-standing sports training wall.
Impact-reducing dasher board assembly
Devices and methods for dasher board assemblies for sports such as hockey. The dasher board assemblies of various embodiments are configured to reduce impact forces when a user collides with the assembly by increasing the flexibility of the dasher board, which allows for a more gradual deceleration. In some embodiments, the dasher board assembly defines a gap behind the dasher board to allow space for deceleration. In certain embodiments, a foam material is placed between the dasher board and a frame of the assembly. In embodiments, a spline connects adjacent dasher boards without rigid connection to adjacent vertical frame elements. In embodiments, the assembly is configured to provide puck play characteristics that are comparable to conventional dasher board assemblies.
