20230069904 · 2023-03-09 ·

The present invention relates to motorized platforms wearable by a user, for enhancing the speed of walking while maintaining stability and reducing overall weight, due to a simplified structure and relatively modest number of components.

WEARABLE EXOSKELETON SYSTEM AND METHOD

A fluidic exoskeleton system that comprises a fluidic actuator unit configured to be associated with a user wearing the fluidic exoskeleton system, the fluidic actuator unit including: a rotatable joint a first and second plate coupled to the rotatable joint and an inflatable actuator extending between the first and second plate.

Leg exoskeleton system and method

A fluidic exoskeleton system. The system can include one or more fluidic actuator units that have: a joint; a first and second arm coupled to the joint; an inflatable bellows actuator extending between a first and second plate associated with the joint, the inflatable bellows actuator defining a bellows cavity, the inflatable bellows actuator configured to extend along a length of the bellows actuator when inflated by introducing fluid into the bellows cavity; and one or more constraint ribs extending from the joint and surrounding portions of the bellows actuator along the length of the bellows actuator.

A wearable mobility device is provided. The wearable mobility device may include a base configured to support a rear portion of a shoe or foot, wherein a front portion of the shoe is free to touch a surface, and wherein the base enables a wearer of the shoe to walk upon the surface when the device is worn by the wearer; two side wheels disposed on opposite sides of the base; a rear wheel disposed at the rear of the base; wherein the wheels enable the wearer to roll upon the surface; and a motor mechanically coupled to at least one of the wheels.

Powered exoskeleton

A powered exoskeleton includes a leg part and a foot part. The foot part includes a foot bottom plate and a foot bottom plate driving wheel. The foot bottom plate includes a first surface and a second surface opposite to each other; and the foot bottom plate driving wheel is connected below the leg part. The foot bottom plate is movably connected to the foot bottom plate driving wheel and capable of being turned over relative to the foot bottom plate driving wheel. In the walking mode, the foot bottom plate is turned over till the first surface of the foot bottom plate faces upward and is connected below the foot bottom plate driving wheel; and in the wheeled movement mode, the foot bottom plate is turned over till a second surface of the foot bottom plate faces upward and is connected above the foot bottom plate driving wheel.

High W-Heels are stylish mobility devices, worn on each foot designed left and right, combining wheeled chassis below attached to fashionable boot above. Their unique three wheeled chassis design, featuring two same sized smaller diameter wheels in front (attached by axle) and a single larger diameter (high) wheel in the back, forms a triangle which provides the user the desirable combined stability of roller skates with the agility of roller blades. This forward leaning (high wheel) design aids momentum and promotes good posture while offering the renowned fashion of a stylish high-heeled demi-boot.
