SYSTEM AND METHOD OF CONFIGURING SKIS INTO AN EMULATION SNOWBOARD
20230097209 · 2023-03-30 ·

A system, configuration, and method for converting a pair of skis to perform as an emulation snowboard is provided. The system includes a pair of skis, and a coupling device including a platform having an upper planar surface with a plurality of mounting locations with mounting system therein. The mounting system couples the skis together and provides a surface on which a pair of bindings may be affixed. The steps for conversion include providing a pair of skis, removing a ski binding from each ski in the pair of skis, if a binding is installed on either ski in the pair of skis, providing a platform with a mounting system, utilizing the mounting system to affix the platform to each ski in the pair of skis, and attaching a pair of snowboard bindings to the platform.

SNOW SKI AND SKATE BOARD PLATFORM COMBINATION
20170225062 · 2017-08-10 ·

An apparatus that secures a skateboard platform to a snow ski with a base that has a sliding member and stationary member. An adjustment mechanism urges the sliding member to move toward or away from the stationary member. A stabilizer is movable toward and way from the sliding member via a guide path in the base. The stabilizer has two components that move one inside the other to lengthen or shorten a distance between their respective ends. The sliding member has a protruding portion that fits into a front snow ski binding. The stationary member snaps into the rear snow ski binding. The front binding is sandwiched between the stabilizer and the sliding member.

DEVICE FOR DRIVING A PAIR OF SKIS OR A SURFBOARD
20210370157 · 2021-12-02 ·

A device allowing the control of a pair of skis or a surfboard, in particular for snow, by the combined simple rotation and simple tilting of a single drive member such as a handlebar, simultaneously by lateral inclination and by longitudinal warping. It therefore combines the necessary mechanical functionalities of a pair of conventional fasteners with the ease of use of a bicycle and does not require skis or specific surfboard. It allows you to move freely over the snow by driving with both feet which are retained but not locked, or to use one foot to push on the flat and stabilize. The lever arm offered by the drive body is much greater than that of a pair of conventional fasteners, greatly improving the ease of use and the maximum capabilities of the machine. Finally, it instantly folds back for easy handling and storage.

SKI WINTER SPORTS DEVICE, MORE PARTICULARLY SKI TRIKE, FOR SLIDING DOWNHILL, HAVING THREE SKIS

A ski winter sports device for sliding down a hill. The ski winter sports device includes a first ski, a second ski and a third ski, a standing device on which a user can stand, a holding device, and a frame. The first and second skis are arrangeable on the standing device next to each other in a direction of travel so that the first ski is available for a first foot of the user and the second ski is available for a second foot of the user. The holding device can be held by at least one hand of the user. The frame connects the standing device to the holding device. The frame is connected to the standing device in a relatively movable manner. The frame and the standing device are foldable relative to each other so that a spatial volume of the ski winter sports device is reducible.

SKEEBOARD AUTOMATIC
20210354026 · 2021-11-18 ·

A user controlled power assisted device to automate snowboard and wideboard recreational snow devices to make turning easier and more consistent for the user, while viewing the line of travel straight ahead instead of the conventional sideways view.

The user simply presses one foot or the other down to enable the proper edging to effect the desired turn. The user's foot pressing rotates the control shaft, which electronically communicates via the pot, motor controller, battery, and motor. The motor then proportionally rotates the drive shaft accordingly to rotate the device longitudinally which provides proper edging to effect the desired turn. The motor rotates around the control shaft to reduce torque backpressure on the board.

Locomotion apparatus having a snow ski and skate board platform combination with brake
10695657 · 2020-06-30 ·

A locomotion apparatus that has a base that secures a skateboard platform to a snow ski as a combination. The base is secured into position by bindings of a ski. A brake mechanism is provided that has a brake seat, a lever arm and a spring arm that cooperate with each other to enable the brake mechanism to move between a deployed brake position, at which the combination brakes to prevent its locomotion, and a non-deployed brake position, at which the locomotion is enabled.

Ski binding rescue device
10471332 · 2019-11-12 ·

A ski binding rescue device having an attachment mechanism for attaching the device to a pair of skis to form a sled. The device attaches to the bindings of a pair of skis and serves to maintain the skis in a parallel orientation. The device has an attachment mechanism for attaching to the toe portion of a ski binding and to the heel portion of a ski binding. The device has one or more rigid lengths that span between the ski binding attachments to serve to connect and maintain the skis in a parallel orientation and potentially to provide an area to place a person to be moved on the sled or other goods.
