THE MASONIC RACK
20240207715 · 2024-06-27 ·

A device which is capable of tightly organizing billiard balls into a diamond or triangle pattern of various sizes. The inventive device consists of two sides which are fastened together in a fixed sixty degree position and a floating third side. The two fixed sides and the floating third side are interlaced which allows the third side to move freely along a plane. The interlacing ceases at the ends of the fixed sides which prevents the floating third side from breaking free from the fixed sides. When laid flat on a billiards table the floating third side can be used to firmly press the billiard balls together into a desired pattern. The floating third side swivels from a center bolt, and can be locked into position by a pin or latching mechanism. In one position the device can organize the billiard balls into a triangle pattern of various sizes. In another position the device can organize the billiard balls into a diamond pattern of various sizes. An accurate angle for the diamond pattern of balls is achieved by protruding arms which emerge from the back of the floating third side. When the floating third side articulates the arms join. Once merged, the arms can be locked into position by pin or latching mechanism. In the case of a pin, the same pin can be used to lock the floating third side straight so it can be used to make the triangle pattern.

A game table for playing a variant of beer pong uses a playing surface that has a series of openings at either end in the traditional triangular pattern. A ball is rolled from one end toward the other with the goal of sinking the ball into one of the openings. When a ball is so sunk, that hole is plugged, the plug used having a handle that extends above the playing surface creating an obstacle for the ball. A cue that be used the hit the ball. Additional balls can be used so the one ball is the shooting ball and the remainder being shot balls. The outer periphery of the playing surface has a raised wall for shot banking. Gutters can be located at either end of the playing surface.

The present invention is directed to a pool rack for grouping pool balls tightly on a pool table. The frame has walls that may be disassembled and may move between, and exist alternatively in, an extended position that loosely group a set of billiard balls, wherein the rack walls are substantially upstanding and, or a closed position that tightly groups the balls, wherein the rack walls are angled and the frame sits atop the billiard balls.

Rules of billiard game

The present invention comprises novel rules of billiard game providing an exciting opportunity for single people to break the ice with one another by playing the game. The billiard game comprises 15 object balls and one white cue ball. The rules relate specifically to the object balls and each player must take certain actions, make certain gestures or ask certain questions after they pocket each object ball. It is the fun and interactive experience of playing the rules of billiard game that gives the players an insight to whether they have a connection with one another and are interested to learn more about each other after the game.

Device, system, and method for playing a variation of billiards using cross-shaped rack

A cross-shaped billiards rack is disclosed. The cross-shaped billiards rack allows players to use a standard billiard table, with standard object balls and cue balls, and play a variation of billiards. A variety of methods for playing billiard games with the cross-shaped rack are disclosed. The cross-shaped billiards rack can be used to form a 9-ball cross; a 5-ball mini-cross; or a 7-ball unbalanced cross.

A racking device for arranging a plurality of balls on a table includes a frame having a proximal end and a distal end, a racking portion coupled to the frame adjacent the distal end, a handle bar coupled to the frame, and a ball setting member comprising an engagement surface. The racking portion includes at least two side walls that are coupled together to form a corner. The distal end of the frame and the side walls define a void configured for receiving the plurality of balls. The ball setting member is coupled to the handle bar, and the engagement surface of the ball setting member is movable toward the void to urge the balls against the side walls and into abutment with each other and away from the void without disturbing the arrangement of the balls.
