DEVICE, SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR PLAYING A VARIATION OF BILLIARDS USING CROSS-SHAPED RACK
A cross-shaped billiards rack is disclosed. The cross-shaped billiards rack allows players to use a standard billiard table, with standard object balls and cue balls, and play a variation of billiards. A variety of methods for playing billiard games with the cross-shaped rack are disclosed. The cross-shaped billiards rack can be used to form a 9-ball cross; a 5-ball mini-cross; or a 7-ball unbalanced cross.
Foldable self-aligning billiard ball rack
A billiard ball rack for racking 3 or more billiard balls is provided, comprising a base arm and two side arms configured to enable the billiard ball rack to be foldable and self-aligning. The inner surfaces of the base arms and the side arms are tapered at an angle relative to a top surface of the billiard ball rack, and the arms are pivotally connected to one another and configured such that when the billiard rack is positioned around a set of billiard balls and downward pressure is applied, the base arm and side arms of the billiard rack automatically adjust to form an equilateral triangle. The billiard ball rack is also configured to be folded compactly to fit within standard pool cue cases while the arms remain interconnected. Methods of using the billiard ball rack for racking billiard balls are also provided.
Billiard rack
A billiard rack is provided that includes a frame that extends around an interior space that is configured to receive a set of billiard balls resting on a bed of a billiard table. A bottom side of the frame includes a lower opening in which the upper portions of the set of billiard balls are able to extend therein. The frame also includes an inner wall having at least one cam surface that extends at least partially around the interior space and that tapers inwardly in directions from the lower opening to an upper opening. When the frame is placed on the set of billiard balls resting on the bed of the billiard table, the at least one cam surface is configured to contact all of the peripheral billiard balls of the set of billiard balls; and urge the set of billiard balls together without the rack contacting the billiard table.
BILLIARDS BALL RACK
A ball rack for positioning and arranging billiards balls is disclosed. The ball rack includes a formation-shaping frame, having a pair of frame arms. Further the formation-shaping frame is coupled to a billiards-ball door. The ball rack further includes a pair of rear portions provided on each respective frame arm. Further a pair of door supports are provided on the pair of the rear portions. Each door support extends upwardly from the pair of frame arms and is configured to receive a door shaft, a door panel coupled to the door shaft, and a biasing spring configured to move the billiards-ball door between an opened position, and a closed position about a door pivot axis. The ball rack as disclosed may further include a spherical protrusion mounted on the pair of arms. The spherical protrusion enables easy sliding of ball rack without disturbing the tightly racked balls.
Training device for cue sports
A training device for positioning balls on the playing surface of cue sport game tables such as billiards, to assist players in making practice shots to enhance their playing skills and techniques. The training device includes a rectangular base, ramps pivotally attached to the rectangular base and pivoted in a deployed position during use, and in a non-deployed position to provide portability, rails provided on the rectangular base and ramps to accommodate object balls of different sizes, and a ball release system for sequentially deploying balls down the ramps in a controlled manner to accurately position the balls on game tables on a consistent basis without having to push each ball by hand.
Pool rack
The present invention is directed to a pool rack for grouping pool balls tightly on a pool table. The frame has walls that may be disassembled and may move between, and exist alternatively in, an extended position that loosely group a set of billiard balls, wherein the rack walls are substantially upstanding and, or a closed position that tightly groups the balls, wherein the rack walls are angled and the frame sits atop the billiard balls.
Combination ball racking device for pocket billiards
A pocket billiards racking device for one or more game configurations. The rack shows a practical, functional, useful and simplified improvement. The design improvements shows a conventional equilateral triangle rack, showcasing a novel set of positional “fences” (i.e., Gates). The Gates, or Fences, incorporated, inset and hinge-pin within the triangular rack, simplifying the setup of the games and streamlining its design.

POOL TABLE HAVING TWO POCKETS AND POOL TABLE KIT
A pool table including all of the same components as a standard pool table but with only two regulation pockets, one disposed midway between each of the short sides of the playing surface.
