In one aspect, the present disclosure relates to a bowling lane conditioning machine. The bowling lane conditioning machine has a drive mechanism for moving the conditioning machine along a bowling lane, a fluid storage tank that stores a conditioning fluid; a dispensing assembly for dispensing the conditioning fluid about the bowling lane; and a pump for moving the conditioning fluid along a flow path between the at least one fluid storage tank and the dispensing assembly. The conditioning machine further includes contaminant sensing assembly positioned along the flow path of the conditioning fluid for detection of one or more contaminants in the conditioning fluid. An apparatus for cleaning belts of a bowling pinsetter comprising at least one cleaning member for cleaning at least one belt of the bowling pinsetter and a frame for coupling the at least one cleaning member to the bowling pinsetter. The apparatus further comprises at least one positioning member comprising a mechanism for moving and guiding the at least one cleaning member between a cleaning position and a non-cleaning position, wherein the cleaning member is coupled with the bowling pinsetter in the cleaning position and in the non-cleaning position.

An apparatus for cleaning belts of a bowling pinsetter comprising at least one cleaning member for cleaning at least one belt of the bowling pinsetter and a frame for coupling the at least one cleaning member to the bowling pinsetter. The apparatus further comprises at least one positioning member comprising a mechanism for moving and guiding the at least one cleaning member between a cleaning position and a non-cleaning position, wherein the cleaning member is coupled with the bowling pinsetter in the cleaning position and in the non-cleaning position.

An apparatus for disinfecting an object is disclosed herein. The apparatus includes an enclosure having an interior, an entrance, an exit, and a path through the interior from the entrance to the exit along which the object travels. The object moves along the path from the entrance to the exit without support from a moving conveyance. The apparatus also includes a light source that is positioned within the interior and configured to emit ultraviolet light such that every exterior surface of object is exposed to the ultraviolet light as the object traverses the interior.

An apparatus for disinfecting an object is disclosed herein. The apparatus includes an enclosure having an interior, an entrance, an exit, and a path through the interior from the entrance to the exit along which the object travels. The object moves along the path from the entrance to the exit without support from a moving conveyance. The apparatus also includes a light source that is positioned within the interior and configured to emit ultraviolet light such that every exterior surface of object is exposed to the ultraviolet light as the object traverses the interior.

An appliance for setting up at least one bowling pin. The appliance includes an object recognition device for detecting the bowling pin and an orientation of the bowling pin, wherein the orientation of the bowling pin encompasses a vertical orientation and a horizontal orientation of the bowling pin, at least one robot arm which is designed for gripping and holding the bowling pin and for setting up the bowling pin onto a predefined desired position and a control unit which is designed to evaluate data of the object recognition device and to activate the robot arm in dependence on the predefined desired position of the bowling pin and/or on the detected orientation of the bowling pin.

Various antimicrobial hole wipes for bowling balls are disclosed. The hole wipe can be configured for use in sanitizing, disinfecting, or otherwise cleaning, the holes in a bowling ball. The hole wipe can comprise a body with an opening on an end that is configured to receive a user's finger. The hole wipe can be impregnated with an antimicrobial agent, such as an alcohol solution. The user can place the hole wipe on his or her finger and then place the hole wipe into the hole to treat substantially the entire surface area within the hole. The user can withdraw his or her finger and then remove and discard the hole wipe.
