COMPUTER-IMPLEMENTED SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TRACKING USER ACTIVITY AND MANAGING QUESTS
Computer-implemented systems and methods are provided for tracking user activity and managing quests. By way of example, a method may include receiving, from a website server, first identity data representing an identity of a user and data identifying a quest activated by the user, the quest comprising one or more activities to be performed at a physical location, and receiving, from at least one reporting device, second identity data representing the identity of the user at the physical location, and activity tracking data in response to the user performing an activity associated with the quest at the physical location. The method may also include identifying the user and the quest activated by the user based on the first identity data and data identifying the quest, further identifying the user and activity data related to the quest based on the second identity data and activity tracking data, and monitoring a progress of the user.
Systems and methods for gamification of instrument inspection and maintenance
Disclosed is a gamification system for overlaying user-controlled graphical targeting elements over a real-time video feed of an instrument being inspected, and providing interactive controls for firing virtual weapons or other graphical indicators to designate and/or record the presence of contaminants, defects, and/or other issues at specific locations within or on the instrument. The system may receive and present images of the instrument under inspection in a graphical user interface (“GUI”). The system may receive user input that tags a particular region of a particular image with an issue identifier, and may generate a visualization that is presented in conjunction with the particular image in the GUI in response to receiving the input. The visualization corresponds to firing of a virtual weapon and other gaming visuals associated with tagging the particular region of the particular image with the issue identifier.

Method, apparatus and computer program for providing game
According to an aspect of the disclosure, a game providing method is provided. The game providing method includes: displaying a game interface comprising a plurality of tiles and a plurality of blocks respectively arranged on the plurality of tiles; changing an arrangement of the plurality of blocks on the plurality of tiles by identifying at least three blocks which satisfy a predetermined condition based on a user interaction; displaying a first graphic representation regarding the at least three blocks; and displaying a second graphic representation regarding at least three tiles respectively corresponding to the at least three blocks based on types of the at least three tiles.
Role-based failure response training for distributed systems
Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for role-based failure response training for distributed systems are disclosed. A failure response training system determines a failure mode associated with an architecture for a distributed system comprising a plurality of components. The training system generates a scenario based at least in part on the failure mode. The scenario comprises an initial state of the distributed system which is associated with one or more metrics indicative of a failure. The training system provides, to a plurality of users, data describing the initial state. The training system solicits user input representing modification of a configuration of the components. The training system determines a modified state of the distributed system based at least in part on the input. The performance of the distributed system in the modified state is indicated by one or more modified metrics differing from the one or more initial metrics.

Systems and methods for tournament-based telematics insurance pricing
A computer system for creating driving tournaments for users including a processor in communication with a memory device is provided. The processor may be programmed to: i) receive user data associated with a plurality of users, ii) generate, based at least in part upon the received user data, a driving profile including driving characteristics of each user, iii) match users based at least in part upon the driving profiles of the users, wherein a match occurs when driving characteristics of the driving profiles are substantially similar, iv) create a driving tournament for the matched one or more users, v) receive current vehicle telematics data and current mobile device data associated with the matched one or more users, and vi) determine, after the predetermined time period has ended, a winner of the driving tournament.
CONTROL PROGRAM, CONTROL METHOD, AND COMPUTER
A control program causing a computer to execute a competition between two players, based on a correction value obtained by correcting a reference value of at least one player of the two players, the two players respectively belonging to two groups, to store a point which may be determined based on the reference value of at least the one player, in a storage unit in association with a group to which the winning player belongs, and to determine a result of the competition between groups, based on the summation of points which may be stored in the storage unit in association with each group. In a case where a predetermined action is performed on the predetermined game content of the group to which at least the one player belongs, control may be performed to change the correction value of the player and not to change the reference value.

CONTROL PROGRAM, CONTROL METHOD, AND GAME DEVICE
A control program for a game device having a storage unit configured to store points associated with players. The game device may receive a request by a player to designate at least a portion of the points associated with the first player as region points of the first player, which may in turn be correlated with a game region designated by the first player. When the first player has the most points for a particular game region, the game region may be set to be a region of the first player. When the first player disposes a first and second game region in a predetermined arrangement, such that the first and second game region has game regions between them, the game regions between the first and second game region may have their point values swapped to put the first player on top.
