Each of the one or more hole define a scoring zone. The playing surface further comprises a demarcation line indicating a boundary of each scoring zone. During the dice game, when a player rolls a die and the die crosses the demarcation line and remains on the playing surface within the scoring zone, points are awarded based on a representation of a number shown on the die. Additional points are awarded when the die lands in one of the one or more holes within the scoring zone.
