A dart pistol utilizes an assembly of a pistol body, a launch channel, a carriage, a mainspring, an operating bar, an engagement feature, a trigger member, and a retainer pin to adapt a conventional game of throwing darts into a shooting sport. The launch channel is formed into the pistol body such that the carriage, mainspring, and operating bar are slidably mounted between a fore body end and a rear body end. The mainspring is connected between the carriage and the fore body end to impart a launching force to at least one projectile via the carriage. The retainer pin is laterally mounted into the channel to capture the engagement feature of the operating bar until dislodged by the trigger member. The trigger member is pivotably mounted to the pistol body, operatively coupling the trigger member to the operating bar to fire the dart pistol.

A catching game that is challenging even when played by one player. The catching game is a paddle-sized hand-held device that preferably incorporates an automatic launcher and an adjustable aperture catcher on the same hand-held device. The automatic launcher incorporates randomness into the launching mechanism, in order to increase the challenge to the player(s). The game also incorporates an electronic sensor to determine when a catch has been made.

An inexpensive toy projectile launch apparatus incorporating pivotally connected housings which may be quickly and easily assembled. The hand held toy projectile launchers include a flexible plastic launch spring having engaging portions mounted within the housings to enable an operator to move the housings in relation to one another using one hand, with an end portion of the launch spring for engaging and launching a projectile. Each component includes a number of structures such that assembly is simple, but the structure is both robust and inexpensive. The apparatus may launch soft foam darts or soft foam spheres and each launch apparatus includes an elongated strip-like plastic launch spring that bends when primed so as to provide energy for launch.

An assembly for launching toy projectiles is disclosed. The assembly includes a left wing having a left elastic support, a right wing having a right elastic support, a central region between the left wing and the right wing, and a pair of launching elements extending continuously from the left elastic support to the right elastic support. The launching elements pivot about the left and right elastic supports when drawn. When drawn, the launching elements stretch in parallel over a launch region to produce energy to launch a toy projectile. When released, the launching elements retract in parallel about the launch region to launch the toy projectile. A handle extends downwardly from the central region. An arm support extends outwardly from the central region and away from the handle. The arm support engages a user's arm to stabilize the toy projectile assembly while drawing and releasing the launching elements.

A re-configurable game board set can be used to play a variety of games in a variety of configurations and can be compacted for easy storage or transportation. A bottle cap launcher for launching bottle caps for entertainment. The bottle cap launcher generally includes a body, a collar, and a pry tooth with a shaft mounted in the collar. The launcher also has a spring compressed between the collar and the body, the spring surrounding the pry tooth shaft. The body can slide on the shaft of the pry tooth. Bottle caps can be leveraged under the pry tooth and positioned to compress the spring and displace the body toward the collar. When released, the bottle cap is launched by the body when the spring forces it back to its original, relaxed position on the pry tooth shaft.
