A programmable die may feature a robust frame structure housing a plurality of display screens which may be programmed to display any number of possible data. Any number of sides are possible, so long as they can be read. The die may be programmed remotely, such as through an app, or manually. The displays may be LCD screens or electronic paper, or any later discovered and suitable device. A battery may be directly or inductively charged.

Certain embodiments of 60-sided and 120-sided replacement dice each having a probability distribution equivalent to that of a subject die with fewer faces than the corresponding replacement die such that each replacement die can be used in place of the corresponding subject die.

An interactive gaming system offer training and education to users in the distribution center, such as employees and field workers, about optimal distribution operations. The system includes a pre-marked surface that resembles a game board. The pre-marked surface can represent a workflow in a distribution center, warehouse, or other type of storage facility. The pre-marked surface can also include a plurality of zones that represent sub-processes or sub-workflows in the distribution center that make up the entire workflow. The system can also include instruction instruments, such as cards, that, when selected by users at the pre-marked surface, provide instructions and/or prompts indicating actions that the users can take to demonstrate distribution operations in the distribution center.

An electronic die capable of reporting roll results is disclosed. The die can include an acceleration measurement system capable of outputting roll data. A processor can then interpret the roll data and transmit it through a wireless interface to a monitoring device. The monitoring device can then show a user the roll result. Waking the electronic die from a low power mode is also disclosed along with customizing the electronic die with faceplates and protective covers.

A tactile die for playing a game, the die comprising a plurality of sides, wherein each side comprises a face having a braille character, each side comprises 3 or more raised border edges surrounding the face, and wherein one of the 3 or more raised border edges is an indicator edge configured to indicate an orientation of the face, the indicator edge comprising an indent along a length thereof.
