Tactile Braille Dice
A tactile die for playing a game, the die comprising a plurality of sides, wherein each side comprises a face having a braille character, each side comprises 3 or more raised border edges surrounding the face, and wherein one of the 3 or more raised border edges is an indicator edge configured to indicate an orientation of the face, the indicator edge comprising an indent along a length thereof.
ROUNDED DICE
The proposed is a rounded dice with multiple faces. Proposed dice provide a better rolling experience to the user/player participating in the game of dice. According to an embodiment of the proposed invention, the rounded dice comprises a hollow dice body configured to have a plurality of faces, each face is provided with an identifier for play purposes like in role-playing games or DND dice games; a plurality of pins extending outward from the dice body and facilitating the dice to stop rolling excessively; and a plurality of links, each link connects two pins of the plurality of pins.
DICE WITH CURVED, BUT NON-SPHERICAL SURFACES, CERTAIN OF WHICH FEATURE NONUNIFORM DISPLAY PROBABILITIES
The current document is directed to gaming dice, including physical dice and virtual dice represented on an electronic display or viewing screen. Certain of the currently disclosed gaming dice have approximately ovoid, prolate spheroid, or ellipsoid shapes that are modified to include planar surfaces. Other of the disclosed gaming dice have angular shapes, including cubes, tetrahedrons, octahedrons, and other regular shapes that are modified to provide nonuniform probabilities of position landings.
DEVICE FOR THE USE OF PLAYING DICE
A device (1) for the use of playing dice (D), comprises: a main body (2) having a plurality of chambers (3) each of which configured to contain a respective playing dice (D); and a box-shaped element (4) internally defining a compartment (5) for housing said main body (2) and being at least partly made of transparent material to visually access the interior of each chamber (3).
Collapsible polyhedron
A collapsible, self-expanding polyhedron comprises a plurality of side members each connected with an elastic band that is sized to urge each side wall of adjacent side members together to form an expanded configuration. When the polyhedron is compressed on two opposing side members, which causes the other side members to separate into a collapsed configuration, the elastic band expands to a maximum length with maximum tension. Once the compression is released, the at least one elastic band retracts back to a minimum length and urges the side members back into the expanded configuration.
PLAYING DEVICE
The invention relates to dice suitable for use in gaming. In particular the invention relates to a new indicator system for use in gaming dice, the indicator system providing a di value. More specifically the invention relate to a di incorporating the indicator system providing a di value, and the use of the di to provide a di value, and a method of using the di.
Customizable dice
A programmable die may feature a robust frame structure housing a plurality of display screens which may be programmed to display any number of possible data. Any number of sides are possible, so long as they can be read. The die may be programmed remotely, such as through an app, or manually. The displays may be LCD screens or electronic paper, or any later discovered and suitable device. A battery may be directly or inductively charged.
Multiple Dice to Produce a Randomized Result from a Predetermined Probability Distribution
One embodiment of a plurality of dice with markings such that when the primary die is rolled a user either lands on a randomized result within the predetermined probability distribution or is directed to roll a secondary die which either provides a result or directs the user to roll a tertiary die. In the embodiments discussed here the final result is achieved on the first roll over 90% of the time. The embodiments described and shown are capable of representing complex distributions that include highly improbable outcomes, providing users with the convenient alternative of simply reading the result rather than performing comparative and mathematical operations on the results of multiple dice rolls.
Strategy Game Method and Apparatus
A board game of strategy in which a plurality of player markers are strategically moved along a plurality of concentric paths along the board and where a plurality of colored interconnecting members are located between the plurality of marker positions to create a plurality of continuous paths of connecting members. Each player selects a plurality of identically colored markers, placing the plurality of identically colored markers on successive marker positions along the plurality of continuous paths. A colored dice is selected corresponding to at least one of the continuous paths of the same colored interconnecting members, the player choosing a path that includes a vacant marker position at the end of the path. The dice is rolled and one of the plurality of identically colored markers is moved the number of spaces indicated on the dice with the hope of landing on a vacant marker position. If the marker does not land on a vacant marker position the marker is removed off the game board.
DICE
Dice which have the exterior form of regular polyhedrons, but are not solid polyhedrons. Instead, the dice, when viewed externally, are in the form of skeletal polyhedrons with floating faces. The dice also include a solid core surrounding their center which can serve to improve tumbling behavior.
