Claw arcade game with photo booth and method of making same
A claw arcade game includes a housing; a claw assembly that is movable along a horizontal and vertical plane within the housing. In one embodiment, the claw assembly includes a plurality of flanges capable of being moved from an open position to a closed position. The claw arcade game may also include a claw control unit configured to control the movement of the claw assembly within the housing, wherein the claw control unit produces at least one unique signal that correlates to an event related to the movement of the claw assembly during a single game sequence. The claw arcade game may also include a camera assembly including a camera mounted within an upper portion of the housing; and a photo booth control unit configured to monitor at least a portion of the signals produced by the claw control unit, to sense the at least one unique signal, and to instruct the camera to take a photo in response to the sensing of the at least one unique signal.
Educational gaming system
An educational gaming system includes control cards, road pieces and a robotic device. Each of the control cards has a graphic corresponding to an instruction. The road pieces are arranged to form a road on which the robotic device is configured to move. The robotic device is communicable with an electronic device that executes an application program. The electronic device captures an image of the graphic of the control card, conducts a machine learning algorithm based on the image to obtain the instruction, and transmits the instruction to the robotic device. The robotic device obtains a road-piece signal value that is generated by scanning one of the road pieces, and performs movement based on the instruction and the road-piece signal value.
ELECTROMAGNETIC GAME BOARD
An electromagnetic game board includes a configurable grid of electromagnets under a game board to move game pieces on the board. Alternative to electromagnets is acoustic levitation through soundwave. In an oscillating electric field (four sides), a magnet can create excite ultrasound that quickly contract and rebound its original shape to push out pulses of air.

Systems and methods for creating haptic proxies for use in virtual reality
Systems and methods which provide for interactive haptic proxies for hand-graspable virtual reality (VR) objects using reconfigurable artifacts and facilitated through use of a haptic reconfigurable artifact toolkit are described. Embodiments provide a haptic reconfigurable artifact toolkit including a set of reconfigurable artifacts for use in forming reconfigurable artifact-based haptic proxies, a set of haptic hardware components for use with respect to reconfigurable artifact-based haptic proxies, and a haptic reconfigurable artifact software platform configured to facilitate generation of reconfigurable artifact-based haptic proxies using items of the set of reconfigurable artifacts and the set of haptic hardware components. Reconfigurable artifacts may be shaped to form reconfigurable artifact-based haptic proxies covering a wide range of hand-grasp postures.
PRINT BOARD CAPABLE OF BEING SEPARATED INTO PIECES AFTER PRINTING THEREON
A print board capable of being printed on and then separated into one or more pieces. The print board includes a main layer, a printable layer secured to a first side of the main layer and a pressure sensitive layer secured to a second side of the main layer. The print board is kiss cut through the printable layer, the main layer and a releasable portion of the pressure sensitive layer to form the one or more pieces. A base layer of the pressure sensitive layer holds the one or more pieces together so that personalized projects may be printed thereon. The personalized projects are printed on the printable layer and then the base layer of the pressure sensitive layer is removed. After the base layer is removed the print board is broken into the one or more pieces.
SITUATIONALLY UNIQUE PRINTING EVENTS
An example apparatus includes: a communication interface to communicate with a camera and a printer; and a processor connected to the communication interface and a memory storing rules of an event that relies on printed materials, the processor to execute instructions stored in the memory. The instructions are to: monitor, using the camera, a live instance of the event that relies on the printed materials; determine, from images acquired by the camera, that a sequence of the printed materials used in the event by participants meets a threshold condition that conforms to the rules of the event; and, in response, control the printer to print additional printed material that conforms to the rules of the event, as stored in the memory, the additional printed material used to alter the event according to the rules, the additional printed material unassigned to any of the participants in the event.
Methods, Devices, Systems, and Computer Program Products for Creating Three-Dimensional Puzzles
The method of creating a three-dimensional (3D) puzzle of an object includes receiving a 3D model of the object; sequentially extracting a plurality of preliminary segments from the 3D model, and generating a plurality of two-dimensional (2D) printable segments corresponding to the plurality of preliminary segments. The plurality of printable segments may be configured to be printed to create a plurality of printed segments that may be configured to be selectively coupled together to form a 3D representation of the object.
Physical-virtual game board and content delivery platform
A physical-virtual gaming platform comprising a game board overlay including logical locations for the placement of game pieces, where the overlay is placed in relationship to the combination of a game board and game pieces. The combination of the game board and game pieces include electronic means that are in communication with a computing device. The computing device processes the information provided by the electronic means to determine the logical location of a game piece with respect to the game overlay and then provides a sensory output to gamers based at least upon the determined locations. The game overlay can be active and in communication with the computing device such that the overlay is operated to alter one or more logical locations thereby changing game play in response to determined game piece movements. The platform includes visualization and audio devices for providing customized visual and audio experiences.
